Airplane & Radio Setup

Great book. Well explained book and easy to understand. Very pleased with it.

I fly rc planes for a long time, on and off - usually by myself or other self taught buddies This book is a treasure of tips and valuable information that is hard to obtain and or edit in a concise manner for someone without very experienced flying buddies or is a member of a good flying club. The book is very visual, informative and to the point. VERY happy with it and can't wait to apply this knowledge :)

Great instructional book. If you are new to RC flying, pair it to “One Week to Solo.”

Recommended to me buy a seasoned RC pro, this book has pretty much everything you should know about setting up a plane and electronics.

Slightly disappointed. Only covers 3d plane setup. Cover and description didnt mention that. So its missing a lot of information for setup of jets or trainers. Would have been nice to include other model types for an all inclusive guide book. Its a good book if 3d flying is your thing. But if you are looking for learning about flaperons setups and other edf jet setups trainers, planes in general, or actual radio settings this book is not for you

Very informative

Thought I knew a lot about RC flying from 30 plus years of trial and error flying. Wow! Have I learned some things from reading the Radio Setup, Solo, and Sport Acrobatic books. Just three examples of the many significant recommendations that improved my flying overnight: use the thumb and finger pinch method to move the sticks, increase the stick spring tension as much as possible, don't use neck cords or trays to support the radio. Thanks to David Scott for publishing such a valuable set of books for us Sunday fliers who want to get better at flying. And the price of the books has been returned many times over as they have saved several flights from ending in destructive crashes.

Best book out there on the subject matter.
