Navy Writer: How to Write Navy Evals and Awards

Very Useful
Of all the Naval Evaluation writing books ive used, this is by far the best. The awards section is a bit underwhelming, hence why I gave it 4 stars, but the evaluations section is on the spot, with a lot of good phrases and words listed to play off of as well as strong advice on placement and utilization for the best evaluation impact. By majority the EPs I submit for we get and usually rank them high on the boards.

A must have
Indispensable for anyone who writes periodic reviews or evaluations in the military, notwithstanding it is more geared toward the Navy.

Good book for enlisted personnel
Great book for senior, middle and junior enlisted members. A little too simple for Officer Evaluations and Fit Reports. I did get a lot out of it though.

Gave as a gift and he really appreciated it! it is a good book to have as a resource for when Eval writing time comes around. It contains helpful alternative works and sentence structures to "beef up" and diversify your evals

Not too useful
This book is kind of out of time. They might need add more guidance of rating, not just common statement. The info it passed out is not as good as its own website.

A must for Navy Evals
If you don't have this, well, I'm sorry. If you have to do more that 20+ Evals in a sitting, this will help you keep your mind sharp, and give you ideas on making better evals. After all, it's all about your sailors. This is their life on paper for one year. Do them justice, give them them evals they deserve.
