It does the job, especially for beginners
I purchased this watercolor paper for a study abroad watercolor class. I was new to watercolor painting and my professor recommended this pad to us. It was fine, and I was able to use it for what I needed to do. However, the quality of the paper is not great, it's pretty rough and it warps very easily. It's also very difficult to tear pages out without ripping them, so you have to make sure to carefully use a blade when tearing pages out. If you make a mistake, don't bet on being able to lift it out easily. If you try rubbing away mistakes, the paper begins to crumble. All in all this is decent paper for beginners, but if you're looking for something more durable and clean, I'd spend my money on better paper.

It’s a good quality paper, takes a beating and is highly affordable!
Speedy delivery. The price point of this paper is excellent. It lifts color quite easily And can really take a lot of scrubbing. I highly recommend it as an alternative to higher priced papers especially for beginners.

the paint will blend nicely, not leave brush edges
The paper absorbs the paint right away, not allowing the watercolors to flow. The paintbrush strokes are left behind. On other (Arches) watercolor paper, the paint will blend nicely, not leave brush edges. Also, even though it's thick, the paper still warps. One can still work on it, but it will just require more precision, more accuracy with each brush stroke since it will stay where you put it. Don't think of this as an alternative to better quality. It is not.
