Very good tasting Yirg coffee.
I don't know if it really is single source Yirg but it tastes very good. One of the best Yirg that I have had. Will be buying more in the future. IMO, the roast is light medium... just right.

Exceptional Flavor and Aroma
This Ethiopia Yirgacheffe is outstanding. The light roast brings out bright, clean notes with a smooth finish and zero bitterness. Freshly ground, it has a fantastic aroma and a crisp, well-balanced flavor—perfect for pour-over or drip brewing, but we also use it in our Ninja espresso maker. Clearly high-quality, single-origin beans. Easily one of my favorite coffees and a definite repeat buy.

It’s good but 5 months old
This one might not have been as fresh as previous bags of the same coffee. Still good, though. Makes a good Chemex coffee. A light and clean taste.

Great taste! Bold and smooth.
Excellent coffee! I’m a convert. Tried this coffee in a trip to South Florida. Perfect. Fresh, smooth, bold, satisfying! Well worth the price.,

LOOKING FOR FRESH, LIGHT ROAST BEANS? DO NOT BUY THIS
If your looking for a light roast coffee, DO NOT BUY. I’d say this is either (1) a medium to medium-dark roast or (2) coffee is old. I’ve tried to dial my cup of coffee which generally takes a couple of pours to find the right grind size and water-to-coffee ratio for a pour over or moka pot. I think it’s because the coffee is old. The bag says it was ‘mfg’d’ Dec 2024 and I got it today April 2025. The bag says it’s good until Jun 2026?!?! (I would never recommend brewing coffee with beans that’s been roasted more than two months ago). I’ve gone through a pound of coffee without any luck. None of the coffee I brewed was drinkable. It tasted like stale/bitter gas station coffee. I bought two bags and now I’m going to try to get a refund for the unopened bag. Stay away if you’re looking for a fresh bag of whole beans to brew your a cup of coffee you can enjoy. I hope this helps

Tasty Coffee If Prepared Properly
I'm hardly a coffee snob, but I'm a huge fan of Bali Blue Moon coffee. Next to the blend Peet's Major Dickason's it's a favorite. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Bali Blue Moon, Whole Bean Coffee Beans is a good, but not the best*, quality roast. But IF and only IF it is brewed properly. If you use a general drip coffee maker, I suggest, to get the best brew and taste, you use this ratio of: 8mg (or one rounded Tablespoon) of drip ground coffee to each 10 ounces of water. Otherwise, it will taste weak and looks like hot water with a brown crayon dipped into it. In other words, terrible. One positive is that it comes in 1 pound bag as opposed to store bought which come a 12 to 15 ounce bag. Make these beans right and this coffee is delicious. *The best is made by son at Waldo's in Gettysburg PA in their coffee shop.

Makes a decent cup of coffee (either drip or french press) - it's a big bag (great to catch on sale).

Good coffee, good price. Lacks the somewhat smoky flavor I prefer and the dryness factor, too, but I haven't found a french roast to match the french roast that hooked when I lived in a place with a coffee specialty shop nearby so since that's the one I'd give 5 stars to, I can give only 4 to this coffee.
