Presto 07030 Cool Touch Electric Griddle

It's great. We leave it on the countertop all the time so we can have pancakes anytime! I love it. It heats quickly and evenly for perfect pancakes every time. Once you're done, a quick wipedown with a drop of oil and a paper towel keeps it in perfect shape, ready to go for the next time. It's also easy and perfect for fried eggs, French toast, grilled sandwiches, etc. We don't usually cook meat on it because the grease sticks and leaves a weird residue. But it's perfect with vegetable oil. Pro tip: I bought one of those huge silicone grill covers (for an outside grill griddle) and cut it into several pieces that fit the top of this griddle. I leave one on so it doesn't get dirty with dust or flour or anything (since we leave it sitting out all the time). When it gets dirty, I throw another one on and put the dirty one in the dishwasher. It's great to keep it clean in between uses.

Excellent griddle. This griddle is very non-sticky. I really like that it doesn't have any hot spots. It cooks even all over. Id highly recommend this.

Love it ❤️ I cook everything on it including scrambled eggs. It's large enough to cook a full rack of baby back ribs. The heat is distributed evenly and temper changes are fast going from 250° to 400° super fast, better than a pan on a electric stove. Clean-up is also super fast and NORTHING STICKS. I don't regret this purchase and wished I had purchased it years ago.

It's just me and my husband. This is SO great for breakfast! I make the bacon, shove to one side to keep warm (and crispy), throw on the potatoes, then, in a while, the eggs. This is so much easier than frying pans. Clean up is easy. Scrape all the grease down the little hole, and I just use a damp paper towel to wipe down the top. Save that grease for the dog food! Clean the grease holder with a bit of Dawn, and you're ready for tomorrow's breakfast. I've been experimenting with making my own hash browns from scratch, and this is just ideal for those ambitious mornings. I can cook an entire rasher of bacon (saving some for BLT's). I'm sure there are many other uses for this, but for my part, it does everything I need, cleans easily and is just plain fun to use.

I had a smaller version of this for several years until I dropped it and the Bakelite parts shattered everywhere. Amazon was out of that size so I purchased this larger version. It works as well as the smaller one, but just barely fits in my cabinet. In my case the extra cooking area is not needed and the storage issue I mentioned doesn’t help. This product was made here in the fifties and sixties and the Chinese have retained all that goodness, so it’s still made with quality components. A good value.

I thought I knew what a great tasting breakfast was until I cooked eggs and bacon on this beast Best f***ing breakfast ever The only down side is I had to make seconds for everyone lol

LOVE this griddle - I had a smaller one for years and it finally didn't cook right anymore. This bigger one gives me more space to put more food on it.

I've used Presto electric griddles since I got married nearly 28 years ago. A local variety store used to carry them so when they pooped out (which with a large family happens), I was able to get a replacement. Sadly, the store stopped carrying them so I got a different brand of griddle. It never worked from the get-go with having a "Jekyll and Hyde" temperate regulation issue sometimes burning things and sometimes not even heating up very hot. I fought it for 6+ months and could take it no longer. Thankfully Amazon to the rescue carrying my beloved Presto griddle. So happy to have a griddle that works flawlessly with great temperature control and easy clean-up. 10/10 recommend! I will never deviate from Presto again!

Worked well, no issues. Size stored well. Does 8 medium pancakes easily. heats evenly and quickly. Nice cool edge, grease tray loose fit. Be careful. Bought for pancakes , very happy. If I wanted more at once a larger size would be great, but storage not as easy. This would stand vertically in full cupboard, but not one with upper drawer, lower cabinet. However slides in nicely on edge and fits full depth perfectly. Measure first! Also nice grilled sandwiches. Evenly browned, as were pancakes. Wipes easily. What more could be required?
