Carbon Monoxide Detector - Portable Key Ring Lanyard Personal Low Level Fast Aircraft Travel

I feel very safe having this sensor in my vehicle. I purchased a hybrid vehicle and would not want any gases to enter my car undetected

The "less-than 100ppm chirping" has gone off on two separate flights - once during engine run-up and a second time just after taking off during climb-out. It's a little unnerving, but it stopped on both occasions after 2-3 minutes. Also, it's hard to remember what the different chirping noises mean. When it happened as I was in flight, I did not immediately recall that 4 short chirps with no long chirp means <100ppm. All I was thinking was, oh-man my CO sensor is going off so I better open the side window and check myself for any signs of hypoxia. In any case, I've trained my ear to listen for the long chirps after putting the sensor next to my car exhaust. The device is on a key ring attached to my flight back-pack which generally sits in the back seat, sometimes passenger seat.

Product was bought for use in my aircraft. Very light and easy to place in the cockpit, bright alert light and loud audio alarm. Good price point and fast delivery from Amazon as usual.

I ended up removing the spring clip on the back of the sensor and double sided taped it to the instrument panel of my airplane. Before I mounted it I conducted a simple test by waving it through the exhaust of my car. All I can add is that it worked as advertised.

I clipped it to my tool bag for home inspections. I'm in and out of many homes during the year an it is always nice to know of this hidden danger

This is a very good and sensitive carbon monoxide detector.

Had it for three weeks doesn't work need to return it

Simple inexpensive product I used for work vehicles as I sit idling a lot of the day, and even showed it to my aviation buddy and he tried it and he won't fly without it in his smaller size plane.
