works, but needs a tool.
It's a good idea to cut a ring of plastic to use as a tool to get the plunger out. For the smaller size I used a piece of house vac tube. Once cut it can be placed back in and then the plunger can be squeezed out. The result is a mess with all the drywall compound, but it helps get things in the gaps.

Handy tool!
I use these for drywall repair to ceilings. Makes it easier to match the knock down texture in small areas to the rest of the ceiling.

Much better than Red Devil's
Just a short initial review. Later, after using, I'll expand on this. It appears much easier to re-use than the Red Devil version as the tips are replaceable making it really reusable unlike theirs.

Great Reusable Caulk Cartridges Tubes
Great reusable caulking tubes that can be filled with a variety of materials. I used grout in one of mine to regrout the tile in my bathroom shower. Worked great and was a lot quicker and less messy than using a putty knife or trowel to apply the grout mixture.
