These Galaxy Buds are purely amazing.
This is my first review, and I apologize for the length. If you read it, you may gain some insight on the Galaxy Buds :) I was compelled to do this review because of how Amazon’s customer service > Samsung’s “customer service” and for how great this product truly is. I preordered my S10+ only to be one of the many who were unlucky enough to not get it included with the phone, and would subsequently have to wait "15 days for the promotional $130 gift card only for usage on Samsung.com” ..not sure if I will receive that or not because the promotional support is extremely subpar for such a revolutionizing smart phone like the Samsung Galaxy S10+; so, I decided to order it on Amazon and will use the $130 for a Micro SD or some other accessories, if I get it. Amazon... you continue to amaze me :) I ordered these Galaxy Buds on Wednesday, 03/13/19 with a an originally scheduled delivery range from 04/05/19-04/29/19. THESE BUDS ARRIVED 3 DAYS LATER ON Saturday, 03/16/19. WHAAATT?? Thank you, Amazon!!! Now THAT is quality service for these quality Galaxy Buds! The new 2019 Galaxy Buds are purely amazing. The highs are great; I personally have the sound toggled to "Bass Boost" on the Galaxy Wearable app and the sound is utter bliss. I have a pair of "noise-canceling" Bose QuietComfort 35 II, and the sound quality on these Galaxy Buds definitely compare with “elite” brands because of its quality. I find these Buds to be on an even keel as far as sound quality with a variety of genres in the “Bass Boost” mode: rap, rock, country, reggaeton, opera, and even classical all sound great with these Buds. Trust me, I have songs in my playlist that have different ranged bass lines, I managed to fit 2 12” Rockford Fosgate subwoofers in my Subaru BRZ, and these Buds’ sound quality did not diminish and did not distort even with the heavy bass line usage. I normally use headphones to listen to classical music while I am studying, doing a project for work, or just like everyone else- shell off from the outer world. As a test, the Buds were able to "cancel" the screech of the BART cars when I was riding BART earlier while the volume was at 75% to full volume, something the Bose QC 35 II sadly could not do despite its "noise-canceling” capabilities. (BART is an extremely loud, outdated train transit system in the SF Bay Area). Not sure why the finish on the exposed part of the Buds is glossy, it would have been better off as a matte finish because it is bound to get oily fingerprints all over it. The “Touchpad” is not as responsive and comfortable as I would like. It is going to take some time to get used to because when one taps on the touchpad, to play/pause/skip it kind of drives the silicone padding into your ear drum- and is somewhat deafening with the taps. The touchpads can be customized to do voice command, quickly adjust ambient sound, or volume up/down with a touch and hold gesture. The ambient sound is an interesting feature to use, especially when someone needs to be alert with their surroundings. In sum, the delivery was just like ordering anything with Amazon Prime, despite the projected delivery being 3-6 weeks from now. The Galaxy Buds can compare with “noise-canceling” rated headphone despite not being rated to cancel out noise. The sound quality is purely amazing with great highs and lows that do not distort no matter how heavy the bass line is. The finish is glossy, but who cares it’s going to be in your ears! The Touchpad GET THESE BUDS NOW!!!!

New daily carry headphones
I use these every. single. day. They are just fantastic. They replaced my Jabra Elite 65t's for a handful of reasons I will explain below. 1. They are smaller and lighter: Maaaaan they are so much smaller and lighter. The Jabra's are like little onion bulbs in my ear. Now don't get me wrong, the Jabra's fit my ears wonderfully, they get great points for ergonomics, but the Jabra's are just too heavy, and they are on the large side. They don't fit small persons ears (i've tested it on friends and family with small ears and they are a no.) These Galaxy Buds on the other hand, are suuuper lightweight, and their "pyramid" shape is very ergonomic to the ear (at least mine, YMMV as always!) The other thing about the Jabra's are that one earbud is sliiiiightly heavier than the other, and man oh man, I could feel it all the time. It always felt like the heavier earbud was pulling on itself. The Galaxy Buds do not suffer from that issue, as they both are feather light and comfy AF. 2. Independent usage and control versatility: The earbuds controls are on both sides, and you can use EITHER earbud by itself. This is such a damn problem with 99% of earbuds out there. Other than some obscure Chinese OEM that may have that feature (which are mostly garbage), the only mainstream brand earbuds that share this same feature are the Apple Airpods. Being able to use either earbud by itself is super important to me. Be it walking around and being aware of my surroundings, or having one in while working. There are many situations where I use just one bud, and having the option of either side is wonderful. The added thing that many don't think of is that if you are going to be listening for a particularly long time (say to an audiobook/podcast all day long) then you can get continuous usage until you use up all the juice in the charging case. If you have one in and it gets low, just swap it out and let the dead one charge. You can't do that with all the earbuds that have a "master/slave" configuration where one bud is dependent on the other bud. Having the same controls on both sides (minus the tap-hold if you choose to use it for volume) is equally important in that regard, so you don't have to pull out your phone or use a smartwatch to do functions like pause and next and previous. ALL TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS SHOULD BE ABLE TO FUNCTION INDEPENDENTLY. 3. Modern charging standards: USB C and Qi charging. Enough said. Everything is going C or Qi, so thank you Samsung for making it modern. The less cables I have to carry and/or buy, the better. Micro USB was a standard, but it's time has passed, and it needs to die gracefully. Don't even get me started on that one company's proprietary cables that they force down peoples throats and wallets... 4. Svelte charging case, "pocket-ergonomic": the only other earbuds worth a piss on the market that have a svelte and small charging case are (of course) the Apple AIrPods. They are still the king on the pocket-able size and shape of their product. Samsung is damn close though with the Galaxy Buds. They are very svelte, and their feeling in the pocket is just as good (as in, you hardly notice they are there) as the AirPods. Yes, some other earbud cases are "squatter" and some are "skinnier" but the other's don't get the shape right, so they always end up feeling like a fat stone in your pocket. The Galaxy Buds case melts into your leg and you don't even notice it's there (unless maybe your partial to skinny jeans. My experience is with standard jeans and slacks) All in all, these hit all the sweet spots for price, style (no more toothbrushes thanks,) function, ergonomics, sound quality (better than AirPods, about on par with Jabra's. Don't expect B&O sound quality) and features. I don't think there is a better set of true wireless earbuds under $200. And to be honest, the concessions that some of the over $200 ones make you suffer is a dealbreaker. If you want great wireless buds, these are the ones.

Great headphones
Quick point I want to make before reviewing the product. I bought mine from "Sold by: DADATEK - Business Seller - SAME DAY SHIPPING" and I believe they are not US model. They appear to be Argentina model and the instructions did not seem to feature English at all. The headphones work fine just thought I would point that out. sometimes that gives warranty issues down the road. As for the actual product now. My Bluetooth headphone experience is limited to the Sony SBH90 set that I used for 5 years or so. I broke them on accident finally and decided I wanted true wireless. Sound quality wise they sound just as good if not slightly better than my last set. Decent bass considering the size but I mostly use them for youtube videos on the treadmill or webex meetings at work. I have heard no concerns so far about my voice quality and seem to work fine. The most important thing for me though was how comfy they are. They fit in my ear fine and unlike my last set they do not randomly fall out. very easy to slide into my ear and just use them. I actually use these with two devices which makes the process not as easy as it could be. They always auto pair to last device they were connected to so sometimes I have to manually go to settings and choose to connect. Would be nice if they supported multi-device connection. Battery life seems good but I have never found my self in a situation needed them to be used for over hour or so at once. LOVE the wireless charging feature. I have a triple charging pad by my bed and just throw down both my phones and this case and next morning everything is juiced.

After seeing a friend getting a ton of usage out of his airpods, I decided I wanted to try true wireless earbuds as well. I'm very happy I chose to do this. True wireless earbuds are extremely convenient. It's easy to take them anywhere, charging them is as simple as sticking them in their case, and they take up no space on your head. These earbuds are the best priced true wireless earbuds from a major tech company and their quality is excellent as well. They come with 3 sizes of wingtip and eartip to ensure they fit perfectly. The first thing I noticed when I put these in were the wingtips. They kind of hook into your outer ear to ensure that the never fall out. They can get slightly irritating after a while but after wearing them for a week you get used to them, and they're removable if you don't want them. These things will never fall out, I've taken them biking, on car trips, on walks, etc and they haven't even loosened. The battery life is excellent, under normal usage it should be impossible to run out of battery in a day so long as you have your charging case with you. The audio is very high quality for earbuds, especially wireless ones. The touchpad is responsive but it takes a while to get used to touching the right part of it.

Muchas gracias
