Great exercises for hand technique
I've been returning to my drum studies in the last 3 months or so, and this video has been a great help. I've only been practicing the basic exercises from this, but I'm already extremely pleased with the results.I've always had a problem with my left hand, and my right hand wasn't too great either, and the drum teachers I've been to were not a great help for this. They can show you which rudiments and rolls they want you to do, but not very helpful in figuring out how to improve basic hand technique. Jojo's exercises were just what I needed, and as I said I didn't even get to the more advanced stuff yet. I'm working on the basic exercises daily, slowly adding more exercises as I progress, and every once in a while watch the first few chapters again to pick up one or two more fine points that I missed in the previous runs.As I said I'm extremely pleased with the results so far and looking forward to continue progressing to the more advanced techniques.

A Drummer MUST HAVE
If you are a drummer you have to have JoJo Mayer's DVD. It's a good manual to work on rudiments, including some really helpful tips, but also amazing to see the fastest drummer I have ever seen!

Semplicemente FANTASTICO
Innamorato del drumming di Jojo Mayer e alla ricerca di un "compendio" sulla tecnica per le mani, mi sono avvicinato a questo DVD.Sono un batterista professionista, posso quindi esprimere un giudizio abbastanza tecnico. Lo ritengo un prodotto valido, ben fatto, che spiega con semplicità ogni singola tecnica per le mani, inframezzata da esempi e piccoli showcase.Non lo ritengo un DVD per tutti, richiede una padronanza del proprio corpo e dello strumento notevole per poter sviluppare appieno il tutto e, per i neofiti, necessita del supporto di un valido insegnante.Per chi come me lo affronta giá con una esperienza alle spalle lo trovo d'ispirazione per saper trasmettere i contenuti ai propri allievi.

Ho scelto questo lavoro superbo di Jojo Mayer come regalo per un batterista. Chiaro, illuminante e accessibile, anche per chi è alle prime armi!La consegna è avvenuta nei tempi e il pacco è arrivato perfettamente integro; in realtà era venduto come "usato, come nuovo", ma era davvero nuovo e ben imballato.
