BLACK+DECKER 20V MAX Cordless Drill Kit with ‎Battery, Charger, Includes Double Sided Drill Bit (BCD702C1)

I bought this as a replacement for a similar Black & Decker 20V drill/driver I burned out (my fault, not the drill's) after over four years of use. It's great for basic use; not quite as good as a DeWalt or Makita, but for the huge price difference isn't too far off. The keyless chuck holds bits tightly and the different gears work well. It's weird to me that the LED points from the bottom of the handle and not higher up where it would light up the screw head (like it did on older models), but B&D saved money cutting the LED power cable 4" shorter and passed the savings on to me. <<Don't read this section if you are faint of heart!!>> The pics attached have nothing to do with the product - I'm basically getting huffy and venting my frustrations on you innocent, unsuspecting bystanders reading this that I bought this as "New" and it was clearly a repackaged return that was thrown through a meat grinder before being re-sent to me. It wasn't UPS because the same box had delicate shelf-stable almond milk boxes that were unharmed. I'm only putting this in my review (besides venting my irritation with Amazon for sending me yet another heavily damaged package) to say the drill itself worked as if new, so it can take a pretty decent beating without breaking. I still gave the product 5/5 stars because I feel it deserves it and don't want to ding it just because of Amazon's abusive mishandling. <<Safe to resume reading from here on out>> I put 4/5 stars for battery life; it doesn't seem like you get a lot of use out of one battery (mediocre, but not bad), but I have five of these B&D 20V batteries and therefore always have a charged spare ready. If you don't already have several backups like I do and plan to use this for long stretches (ie. putting in a deck or putting up siding) it may be worth getting one - the generic B&D 20V batteries are WAY cheaper and in my experience they last at least as long as the overpriced name brand equivalents. To make an unnecessarily long story even longer, I'll make the point I should've made seven pages ago: I recommend this drill. It's a good price and it's convenient having several tools that all use the same 20V battery.

This is a cool little drill. I have many drills, and decided to give this one to my dad. I missed using it and it being gone left a void where it worked well and was easier and quicker to use on simple tasks. So I bought another one. Very useful.

Nice tool. Just the box looked more damaged than it should be. I also felt it was not completely new (looking the charger). The screwdriver itself looked new. I ended keeping it, but had thought sending back. I think it is not brushless, so it produces sparks inside - an extended warranty is a good bet. In the other hand the trigger can adjust in inumerous speeds, not only one or two. I have had not good experiences with blenders from Black & Decker but decided to try this tool as I had one of this in the past and never had problems.

This drill/driver is great for jobs around the house, woodworking shop, and remodeling and building projects of all kinds. Cordless, (no more extension cords). This will replace my last Black & Decker which finally quit after years of great service. Easy bit change with keyless chuck, small light for dark places, Variable Speed which is great, 1 Lithium Ion battery, and bit storage. An additional battery would make this even better, of course I noticed the replacement batteries are very reasonably priced. Definitely a 5 star tool, 10 stars if I could. Fast delivery, Super price, High quality tool.

Works great, has good power, the handle fits ok, the battery charge very fast, you can use to a lot of kind of works

The Black & Decker 20V MAX Cordless Drill I bought from Amazon has helped me to complete several projects this year. Before I purchased it, I already had other Black & Decker equipment which use the 20V battery with which I have been pleased. The drill works like a charm. It has given me no reason to say anything negative against it. Being able to use a cordless drill has made work so much easier. The battery works a long time before needing a recharge, and I have never had to replace a battery during a project. No, it is not the top of the line cordless drill on the market, but it is quite affordable and meets my needs perfectly, and so recommend it as a very acceptable tool to acquire.

Well, it did take a while to charge, but worked just fine... the colour means I can find it easily... All in all, nice balance for me, no regrets... Seems to have the power I need for so far...

Drill itself is simple and good, burlt be aware that charger plug is US standard and there is no adapter for AU power socket

Funciona muy bien para atornillar y desatornillar, para taladrar tabique pasa, pero para concreto no lo recomiendo

No sabia que lo necesitaba hasta que lo tuve, no hay vuelta atrás después de utilizarlo, la función de destornillador es excelente, solo hay que asegurarse de tener un buen set de puntas, en este caso le agregue un set bosch y el resultado fue magnifico, en cuanto a la función de taladro solo la use una vez, al principio pensé que le faltaba potencia, pero resulto que era la broca la que no estaba en buenas condiciones, al cambiarla funciono correctamente, no se compara con un taladro de enchufe convencional obviamente, sin embargo cumple con su función, excelente para trabajos de casa.

Obviously not meant for construction jobs but perfect for work around the house.
