Cyril Salter Luxury Shaving Cream (French Vetiver 165g)

I'd never even heard of vetiver until I fell in love with Lalique 'Encre Noire' cologne. Then I started looking to see if I could find it in a shaving soap or cream.I had no luck with the soap (which I prefer), but I did find this. It has a much more 'raw', earthy vetiver fragrance than the slightly incense-y Encre Noire, and at first I wasn't sure I was going to like it.However, I have to say that it grew on me very quickly.If you know vetiver's scent already, my comment that this one is raw and earthy will probably tell you everything you need to know. If not, I can only say that while you may try this and love it, it's equally possible that you'll loath it.I love it, and can't possibly give it fewer than five stars.

Normally I like the Vetiver scent, but in this shaving cream, the scent is to strong and strange: one star. However Cyril Salter as a Shaving Cream deserve four stars, therefore total two and a half stars.I am looking forward to try C. Salters other Shaving Creams!
