Would have given 5 starts, BUT..
Nice bit of kit. But what simpleton shrink-wraps a file in plastic! Effing nightmare to remove; had to burn it off in the end.TAPS

How to remove the plastic cover
The file is excellent and does the job. The people who moan, about the dificulty of removing the plastic covering from it. should be aware that a stanley knife run along the safe edge of the file removes it in 3 seconds flat,, though I doubt if engineering will be their forte if they cannot work that out themselves!

Perfect rough metal file
Works well for quick and rough filing. Bought this for sharpening mountaineering crampons, and it's night and day compared to my smaller, finer files. Doesn't leave a neat finish, but that's not what you're after with a bastard file.
