This piece is practical and works well. Just beware - it will not work if the marble holders are not properly pushed in. Otherwise, works great. Easy to incorporate with other Gravitrax sets

Great add on . This scoop works consistently well . I think this might be a second or third purchase as we seem to have 3 of these .

Works well and literally adds another dimension to gravitrax

I now have 5 of these & they allow for a much longer track rather elegantly, as well as allowing better use of the "switches".

Such fun to add to the whole track

This device lifts a “gravity sphere” up by three large tiles (and a bit more). This makes it perfect for taking the ball bearings up to a higher transparent level supported by three large tiles, which is essentially the most useful height difference to use between levels. It’s the most reliable way to give the balls more height. The Hammer and Gauss Cannon really only work when speeding balls up on the level. The Scoop is a single-use element, but you can have a good track taking one ball from the top level to the base, then use Scoops to lift the ball back up to the highest level - one scoop to gain three large tiles-worth of height. Once at the top, I use the Gauss Cannon to fire the ball at a Volcano to release three more balls with plenty of energy to roll to the edge and each start their own paths back down. Highly recommend getting several Scoops to extend the time it takes to complete one “circuit”

It’s great, my kids have really been enjoying it. They love the versatility in the building and how well everything works together. My only comment is that the bottom bases would probably be better of being something other than hard cardboard. The rest of the bricks are plastic with metal balls. The bases work perfectly, I’m just concerned that in the future they will become worn or accidentally get bent and won’t work anymore to hold everything in place. But overall this toy is a big hit.

Ho regalato il kit gravitrax a mio figlio per il compleanno e devo dire che ha preso tutta la famiglia. Ci giochiamo quasi tutti i giorni e alla fantasia non c'è limite. Ho preso anche accessori già presenti nella confezione e devo dire che, costo a parte, vale la pena se si vuole divertire in modo intelligente e senza annoiarsi. Questo è un accessorio che consiglio e che funziona davvero bene.
