Just what I needed to expand my Stetson band a bit to make it fit comfortably.

Worked well on Straw Open Road Cowboy Hat!

This works well but you have to continually use this on the same hat each time. It worked to stretch it out but did not keep the stretch and went back to same size before stretched

I used this to stretch a fitted hat that was about 1.5 sizes small. I left it for about 14 hrs and the hat fit real well. I know the hat will shrink back some but I'm happy with what it did and how easy it was to use. There is a taper to the wood and I put the largest diameter down, to the outside of the hat. The adjusted was simple and no tools needed. The wood is unfinished but nice and of good enough quality for its purpose. It is a softer wood so expect dents and markings. Overall, a simple tool to do is intended job. I feel it'll last many years so the price is justifiable.

Great item. I have some fitted hats that due to sweating causes them to shrink a couple sizes. This helped get them to fit again.

Update 3/1/24 So after using this for a few months now, I have noticed that it does have some limitations. The main one being that after the stretching process occurs, usually overnight, that once the stretcher is removed, the hat does try to return to it's original size. I guess the fabric and fibers are snapping back into place. Also, not a major drawback but I've noticed on a couple that I've stretched that the hat gets shallower? I feel like this is worth the trade though as it allows the hat to fit comfortably. I'll keep testing it out and update my review in another little bit! was skeptical that something that cost so little, would appear to have rescued my headwear from utter demise. I have a fairly large head, wear a size 8 new era/fanatics brand ball cap and I have hundreds of dollars worth of hats, some that either shrunk to a point of not fitting at all or to a stage they give me headaches. Preliminary results from this device are better than expected, I will update this review if anything changes but this appears to be a game changer!

He said that he liked this just fine. He used it for FITTED baseball hats (OBVIOUSLY, NOT the ones that you can adjust with the plastic snaps in the back). The hats From Walmart are great hats for the price but sometimes you need one that's a little bigger around....He's a big man and said that after he wet the hat and put the stretcher on it, it made it much better.....He said he wished it was able to stretch a little bigger as the elastic wasn't fully stretched before the screw came loose before he was done with it. The elastic wasn't stretched fully but he said it was good enough to keep so that's why the 3 star rating...LOL I've called him ALOT of names but never a Fat Head!!!...lol He said For $18, it was worth keeping.....

Works well and will not only accomidate a streatch for a big noggin but will help a regular hat set down on your head better. good buy.

This product is well made and does what it's supposed to do so long as you do buy the right size of stretch fit or pro fit cap. It didn't do much when I first bought a size M/L New Era 30Thirty cap, but worked well once I sized up to L/XL. Also it helps to buy a steamer too!

Me gusto la calidad, su diseño… Muy practico, y útil para ampliar un Sombrero de lana. Obvio, recomiendo darle calor antes al sombrero.
