Size Name:1 Male & 1 Female Snap Connector Kit This Kit includes 2 Snap on Connector Sockets for Philips Hue LightStrip Plus and a Male to Male pin Strip. This will add a female & Male socket to each end of a cut LightStrip and allow you to plug in a Spacer cable in between. They are white and the inside of the sockets are gold plated. These can be made male at any time with the addition of a Pin Strip (included). Why throw away LightStrip offcuts you could use elsewhere at a small cost? These will help you to convert an offcut of Philips Hue LightStrip Plus to an Extension LightStrip with minimal effort, requiring no soldering. Most other pin strips sold on ebay are of the wrong pitch size (2.54mm Pitch Spacing, rather than what is actually required). DIRECTIONS This socket needs to make contact with the solder points next to the cut mark on your Lightstrip Plus. Rather than cut the Lightstrip directly on the cut mark, it is very important that you cut directly across the solder points next to the cut mark so that the solder points are cut in half. This will allow a Snap on Connector to make contact on either sides of the cut, ensuring that both sides are reusable. When you have cut the lightstrip, simply push the Snap on Connector on and over the solder cut points and snap down the enclosure firmly, making sure that it latches. These can be made male at any time simply by pushing in a Male Pin Strip (one included).
