I work a lot in our basement and often don't hear the doorbell. I needed a solution and checked Amazon for a good wireless doorbell. There were a lot of options, but many of the choices had a lot of bad reviews. The X-Sense C2 unit looked a little better than most so I ordered it.The unit is pleasant looking and easy to install. I pulled the battery tab on the doorbell button and then stuck it on outside using the self stick option. I was considering drilling the mounting plate and screwing it to the door trim, but that would possibly create a point of entry for moisture, so I decided instead to stick it first and use the screw method as 'Plan B' in case the thing came unstuck.I then plugged one ringer unit into a wall socket on the main floor and tried the sound options. Pressing a button on the unit cycles through the sounds (there are a LOT of them!) but I liked the first sound pretty well so I left it there after going through ten or so (There are 56 to choose from!) I must say the ten or so tones I heard were actually nice, not the jarring discordant sounds I've heard in some other electronic doorbells! I then tried setting the volume using another button on the unit. It cycles through 5 levels of volume and seemed more than loud enough. I set up the second unit in the basement near my workshop.The bell has so far worked quite well. I now know when Fedex drops off a parcel or when the mail carrier is at the door. The unit is supposed to handle pretty cold weather.... that is my biggest worry, that our Erie, PA winter may prove too much for it. So far so good, it is working fine. I am also glad that the battery should work up to 3 years under low usage. I am pleased with this solution to my problem. It works well, was relatively inexpensive and was easy to install.

Appears to be a high quality product that is extremely easy to install and use. Simply stick on your remote by the door of your choice and plug in the two receiver units somewhere in your house. That's all there is to it. You can pick something like 37 different tunes to play with each of the two receiver units working independently. The volume can be adjusted and is loud enough to be heard all over the house especially when using both receiver units.With the television playing at one end of our house and the doorbell in a hallway about 40 feet away, we had a problem hearing when someone was at the front door. No longer a problem with this unit. We plugged one unit in just under our existing door bell and the other in our family room where the television is. Now we can hear if someone is at the door no matter where we are in the house or how much background noise there is.The only battery is in the push button unit at the door and is supposed to last up to 3 years. The battery is replaceable. The receiving units simply plug in. We love this product.

I ordered the two receiver and one transmitter model the only problem is one of the volume buttons on one of the receivers don’t work but the Default Setting is on high so no reason to return it over thatYou don’t need to pair the models when they come they come already paired you have to do is take the tape off the transmitter to release the battery and take plastic off the receivers which takes you less than a minute and you’re ready to goOver 50 tones to choose from can’t go wrong buying a couple you like some are too long and some are too short, Even some meowing cat and barking dogs in the tones LOLRange is incredible and even though I got both sat at the highest volume they are loud enough that would be nice if they were a little lower but I don’t need them to beThe thing you have to realize is you can put multiple units in different rooms so don’t need the volume to be too high and ear splittingMy house is 1800 ft.² and with two receivers I have no problem hearing them if your house is bigger might want to get four receivers, for the price you can’t go wrong even if you order too many receivers you can also use them if any of them go bad down the roadThere is a tool included To open the back portion of the transmitter or you can use a small screwdriver is very easy to open but don’t forget to get the tool out of the bag with the screws includedYou can’t go wrong with this year and it works great for the price it can’t be beat

As a somewhat tech savvy senior female, I bought this for my extremely tech challenged, hearing impaired mother. After careful research and consideration, I found this.One complaint...when I attached the actual doorbell outside her door, it was crooked. In order to correct this, I had to remove the front portion of the ringer and carefully pry the glue pad off the wall. I managed, but quite frustrated that it wasn't easier to make any adjustments.Happy ending! It's installed, ringer works great, plenty of volume for her small apartment. Very affordable too.

Very easy to setup and install. My 2 receivers paired immediately when I plugged them in. I pulled the plastic tab on the transmitter and presto my doorbell was working.I haven’t stuck the tape to the transmitter yet and plugged in my 2 receivers where they will eventually go. 1 on main floor, and 1 in the basement. My husband has to wire the 110 power outlet where our original wired doorbell was and put in a 110 up high in the basement. Thats no biggie for him to do with his building knowledge. I’ll update my review when receivers are in there permanent locations and I can test the distance.I gave volume a 4 only because I am hearing impaired and a wee bit louder could be helpful, especially for the basement receiver since that’s where my workshop is where I am always running my sewing machine quilting. However, all 5 volume settings work.Thumbs up here!
