2 Pack Meat Probe Replacement for Traeger Grills, 3.5mm Plug, BAC329 BAC289

I’d give this 10 stars if I could. I had a feeling my traeger was off because I kept having the probe say my meat was smoked to temperature but when I cut in it looked under. After further research apparently this is a common problem and this item works perfectly as a replacement cheaper than the genuine traeger part and even comes in a two pack! Readouts are sent right to my phone and are pinpoint accurate!

Works good and needed for replacement

I’m not sure how, but the original meat probe that came with our Traeger completely shredded when GENTLY removing it from a turkey. I quickly ordered these replacements from Amazon and my husband never noticed that they weren’t original haha .. he’s extremely observant so I consider that a win in my book

Worked fine right out of the box. Only tried one of them so far, can only use one at a time with my grill.

These are compatible with King Chii grills. They arrived in good condition.

As good as OEM

I've had previous digital thermometers where the leads would lose accuracy after a couple uses, or even right out of the box. I bought these for an open box Traeger grill I got. It was missing the drip bucket and the probe. So I ordered these and have had no regrets. I even verified them with a mechanical thermometer and they were dead on. The probes are long enough (7") to penetrate into the center of a prime rib or brisket. The 4' cables are long enough to reach to the far end of my smoker with plenty of extra length should I need to route it around other items. So even if you have a vertical smoker, you will have plenty of room. The 3.5mm jack feels solid and not like some cheaper ones that will cause the 3.5mm to bend or separate from the plastic shell.

Neither probe works. As soon as I plugged it in to the Traeger, it immediately jumped to hot and never read a temperature. It was never placed inside the Traeger, just plugged in. The second time I plugged it in the temperature went up and down and up and down while I’m holding it in my hand. See the photo.

Fonctionne très bien belle qualité

Worked perfectly on our Trigger bbq.

Replacement probe for treager. Having some issues calibrating not sure if it is the probe or the controller on treager

We use this probe on most meats while on the smoker, very accurate and eliminates the guesswork.

It’s compatible with our Traeger and works just like the original!
