Vizari Astro Soccer Ball

To preface this, my son is a high level club player, so he sees a lot of soccer balls. His personal favorite ball is either a select ball, or a t90 soccer ball. However, he went through a three month span where he lost three moderately expensive balls, so we wanted to find something a little cheaper until he learned to be more responsible. First, this ball is a good value. However, it is not without its flaws. Out of the box, it is VERY smooth, annoyingly smooth to the point where it has very little grip. He kicked it on the concrete to scuff it up to give it a little feel. Some people might be annoyed by this, but a soccer ball is a tool, so the appearance doesn't matter as long as it plays properly. Second, the ball bounces less than a regular soccer ball at proper PSI (and airing it up too much makes it hard as a brick), which is good for a ball on the field, but he sees it as a "cheater ball" since you can go for a long ball and have a much easier time getting the ball under control (not as much as a futsal ball, but a lot less than a regular ball). Juggling he says feels a little strange with this ball because of the low bounce. For the money though, it is a great value, but just realize that there are some caveats.

We bought this soccer ball for our four year old when she started AYSO. This ball is good for her and she really likes the pink color. That being said, I wouldn't buy this same ball for my older daughter. It doesn't seem to be as solid as other balls that we have had for my other daughter. I would consider this to be a good ball for smaller kids or if it is just to be used as a toy. If you are looking for a ball for soccer practice, I would choose a different brand. You should also know that this ball comes deflated and you need to pump it up.

Update: after messaging the company, they replaced the soccer ball with a new one even though it was past the return period. So far so good, this ball is keeping air. Guess I previously just got a defective ball.Initial Feedback: only inflated the ball twice (twice including the first time as it comes flat) and the valve fell inside the ball and therefore we can no longer inflate the ball. This was a birthday gift for my daughter and it was barely even used before this happened. It looks brand new but it's flat. And the return policy has since expired and can no longer be replaced.

I use this ball to practice or to play with my dogs. I probably wouldn't use this ball for a match but it will last I have had it for four months already and is still in good condition. No problems at all. It does not lose air faster then any of my more expensive match balls. But you will need a ball pump to inflate it since it comes flat in a little plastic bag saying how to inflate it. But it does not deform when you inflate it. I would just be careful when inflating so you do not puncture the ball because then it will then not last inflated at all. In the end it really is a ball that I could recommend and well deserving of the five stars.

Bought this for my son and I to kick around in the back yard and the beach. It's held up pretty well, despite occasional hard kicks into concrete and wooden fences around the yard. Only a few cuffs on the cover after a month of use. I've been using a pressure gauge to keep track of how well it is inflated, and it's only needed a few pumps here and there to keep proper pressure.

This is pretty nice. It come deflated so it must be inflated before use. Mine came with a few scuffs on the ball probably due to packing. It does worry me a little as to how it will hold up. My son is really hard on soccer balls so we'll see but he loves it. I would buy it again as of now..

This has been a great soccer ball. I bought it for my little daughter, and she loves it. It holds air quite well. It occasionally gets left out in the sun, and that has led to some fading in the 9 months or so that we've owned it. Overall it's been a solid purchase.

These balls are all beautiful and seem to be holding up well. I had to return one ball as it did not hold air. The returns process was quick and easy. I love dealing with Amazon.com.
