The product box looked like it was going to be a cheap low quality product, but the actual pot, spoons, and centering tools were actually quite good in quality. I'm very picky about if there are scratches on my products and this pot came perfect... I mean if you saw what it came in you'd be convinced there be damage inside. But you will be pleasantly surprised! The wicks were perfect and I immediately completed one of the my little candle DIY projects with it immediately. I would definitely throw my weight into recommending this if you're on the fence. This kit comes with everything you will need to get started. You do need your own heating element!

When I was looking up "how to make soy wax candles" the double boiler is almost always mentioned. The melting pot provided seems like it was taken off a cappuccino machine and placed in the wrong delivery order. The handle does not hang over the edge of the boiling pot of water, and it's honestly really small... I've made a lot of candles with it out of pure stamina and patience... and determination, not because the vessel is large enough. If this is in your price range - go for it. The adhesive, wicks and holders are more than adequate. BUT you will likely have to invest in another melting pot... at least I will be and wish that I was more diligent in reading the dimensions in the product description. Happy shopping :)
