Used this to connect 2 devices and worked like a charm.

I bought this thinking it was a genuine Belkin Cable. It is not. A genuine Belkine Cable has injection molded ends. This just has the RJ45 ends crimped on the red cable with NO injected molded ends. With that being said, it is a good cable and works just fine for connecting two computers together or connecting a laptop to a CONSOLE port on a managed router. Buyer beware though, this is NOT a genuine Belkine cable. I would know, because I have bought several of the genuine items from a Belkin IT distributor. I bought three of these knock offs and all have performed flawlessly. Only reason I gave a 4 star rating is because they do not have the injected molded ends and they are not GENUINE BELKIN cables. Also, these are CAT5e cables, not built for speed like a CAT7 or CAT8.

What I needed to connect my AIO to my desktop to transfers files.

Used to connect a computer to embroidery machine. It was perfect.

It did exactly what it should; networking two computers together almost instantly using this null modem cross connect cat 5 wire. I was able to transfer files back and forth without any problems

Picture DOES NOT reflect the product other than the cable is red. The picture has a manufactured boot to relieve stress on the cable. I could have made this at home with spare cable and two ends. Not what you'd expect from Belkin branded products.
