Waterproof!
I bought these on a Prime Day special to take to South Padre Island to use for close up viewing of gulls and shorebirds on the beach and for viewing from beach to wave surface. My husband and I are fairly serious birders and own numerous pairs of slightly higher end and stronger magnification binoculars and spotting scopes. I really didn't consider these to be super legit optics, just an affordable backup pair for the beach. We had spent half an hour or so hanging out, making friends with seagulls, taking cell phone pictures. The longer I used these little binos, the more I liked them-they felt nice in the hand (love their rubberized coating!), had great edge to edge image quality, small but substantial. My (type 1 diabetic) husband seemed happy, sitting on his beach chair at the edge of the surf, dozing on and off, and enjoying the scene. But, as the low waves surrounded him, his beach chair sank deeper and deeper into the sand and I realized he was doing nothing to extricate himself. It was then I knew his blood sugar had tanked and he was already unresponsive. I had to get him up onto his feet and out of the water rickticky, pull his beach chair out of the sand, gather up all our stuff, and find him something to eat ASAP, or call 911. In the melee, I dropped the binoculars into the edge of the surf, and by the time I could grab them they (as well as my husband and I) were completely coated with sand and dripping wet. I shook the binoculars off but I had more important things to worry about, pulling my husband out of his sinkhole and getting a grip on the load of gear including both of our cellphones, the heavy beach chairs, and wet towels I would have to carry. Luckily, a woman nearby came to our rescue and helped me get him up and heading for the stairs and shower at the beach exit. Her friend gave him some crackers and, to my amazement, he came to enough to move out of the danger zone. When we reached the shower I haphazardly rinsed off the binos along with everything else. I figured they were ruined forever. I got him some food and glucose, and to this day he doesn't remember anything at all, like it never even happened. The same is true of these binoculars! As soon as they dried and I brushed the rest of the sand off of them, they were as good as new-no fog, no messed up focus wheel or gears, no scratched lenses. Even though I would have sacrificed them to my husband's medical emergency, I believe they are a great little pair of sturdy, useful, WATERPROOF, binoculars. 5 stars, easily!

Perfect binoculars for a beginner birdwatcher at a reasonable price point!
I started to pick up birdwatching during quarantine and wanted to get a starter set of binocs. After comparison shopping and doing a little research, I picked these as they seemed rugged and good quality at a reasonable price point. I love them! They don't fog up and they give a nice clear image that's easily adjustable to get it in focus. They come with lens caps and a small case, everything you need. They are not too heavy at all and fit nicely in the backpack I usually take with me for hikes. The grippy rubber outside is nice for hanging onto them. I do think I might eventually invest in a strap with better padding, but that is a very minor complaint. I thought, ok, as far as binocs go, these are pretty cheap, so I am not going to have crazy high expectations for them. Honestly though, I do not anticipate buying a more expensive pair in the future. This "starter" pair has everything I want as a beginner birder! The image is clear, easy to get in focus, and true to color. I've seen so many birds I've never seen before this year, like double-crested cormorants, cedar waxwings, Cooper's hawks, barn swallows, white-breasted nuthatches, caspian terns, and red-bellied woodpeckers, and these binoculars have helped me a great look at all of them, including ones in mid-air, ones far out to sea on Lake Michigan, and in trees from afar off. These are rugged, lightweight, easy to use, and have great image quality. My reasonable expectations have been exceeded and I am so pleased!

Great binoculars, this is my 2nd pair
These are great. I have had a pair on the boat for years and this is a new pair I got for the truck. Optics are great (great twilight/night performance), eye relief is great, and viewing angle is excellent. Really solid build and durable. I have dropped them more times than I can remember. On a boat or a moving vehicle if you got something with more magnification (thus less viewing angle) it will be unusable as the image will be too shaky (because a boat rolls on the waves and on a dirt road you can figure out that one). This is the perfect ratio of magnification / viewing angle you can get for under $1200 (which would get you a gyro stabilized unit). They are also ideal for surveillance work where you need to see a wide angle because you may not know exactly which car in the parking lot someone is hiding behind. There are two versions of this the 10X and the 8X - I have both and really can't tell much of a difference so don't beat yourself up on which version to get.

Stellar Binoculars for the Price
For about 80 bucks these are great binoculars. Durable feel (typical of Bushnell products I’ve used), high quality materials and craftsmanship, and the image quality is decent. The casing material has a nice grip quality to it to prevent drops. The only issue I believe is worth mentioning is noticeable purple and red chromatic aberration that sometimes appears along distant ridgelines against a bright sky, such as high mountain ridges with a cloudy backdrop when the sun is behind me, which is to be expected with any binoculars in this price range, however the image quality is clear and sharp enough that the chromatic aberration is less noticeable than with other brands’ optics. I bought these for general use to keep in my vehicle and bring along on backpacking and hiking trips. For these purposes these binoculars are perfect imo.
