Great, Easy to use and makes life easier.
Works Great! And I love the two different label sizes. I have the Demo 4xl for my shipping labels and use this for other type of labels for my products testers, ingredient containers, and soon my bar codes.

Use in a Production Enviroment
We have lots of these printers throughout the production floor, and all work well. For database automation, the only issue I have is that the SDK Library in C# doesn't suppport the tape function. I believe Dymo just released an update to their software, but haven't had a chance to review the update. The tape function works great in their software.

GREAT LITTLE LABEL MAKER
I think Amazon received a bad batch of these. I just received my second one which has the same problem. Put the tape in and it feeds out a little and won't cut. Now the tape is stuck and you can't cycle the cutter or anything to get the tape cassette out. The factory is going to send me another one. We have a 400 Dymo Lable/Tape writer Duo and we like it very much. Hopefully the 3rd 450Duo will work for us. ??? I'll follow this up when I receive it. I JUST RECEIVED MY REPLACEMENT PRODUCT FROM DYMO AND IT WORKS GREAT. AS I SAID I THINK AMAZON HAS A BAD BATCH OF THESE.

Loved our 1st LabelWriter Duo so much
Loved our 1st LabelWriter Duo so much, got tired of sharing it, so got one for myself! This printer really takes care of SO many needs. Very handy, reliable, free software is quick/easy to install and makes it easy to make very professional labels. I use it for making barcode labels, address labels, logo labels - you name it. If you don't have one of these, you're missing out.

It's small, which is good.
It installed flawlessly, print quality is good. The software is akin to MS publisher. I like that it is specilized and the output is linear. A lot less wasted labels. And they don't washout when wet (with water anyway) they don't hold up to solvents of course. I use it for my hobbies, cooking, labeling cables... Very useful.

Dymo: Great. SELLER: AWFUL!!
I love Dymo labelers. Unfortunately, had to return this one, I bought too many. PROBLEM: I have a UPS confirmation that the device is back to Amazon, but they’re holding my refund! I spent (total waste) almost three hours on the phone with overseas “no-support” people, each either transferring me to a recording, or telling me they don’t have a supervisor. Bottom line, four days later, AFTER they’ve received it, and I still don’t have my refund. I’m told to wait up to TWO WEEKS! DISGUSTING SERVICE. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

This product will not work in Windows 11
Windows 11 only recognize as one type of printer. The tape will not work in Windows 11. Dymo tech wrote the following: "In regards to your case, if you are not able to choose the tape in DYMO Label Software, I would like to inform you that this issue is caused by Windows 11 being unable to support 2 printers in 1 and it is not a printer or DYMO software issue and this goes to all 2 printers in 1, in general, it is not only DYMO printers. Unfortunately, the compatibility of the Windows update and LabelWriter DUO is a work in progress. The ticket has been raised with Microsoft to address this issue and it is intended to be compatible with it but the system has some early issues that should be fixed by Microsoft. I would advise you to use Windows 10 or a Mac computer now until the issue is fixed. If Microsoft fixes it, it will be added to the Windows OS update."

Most (but not all) of the software does not work
My Dymo 330 stopped printing. All labels printed as blank. So I bought the new, improved Dymo 450 DUO, with twice the firepower! It prints both labels and tape! However, the new "DYMO Connect" software does not work. It does not recognize the tape printer, so I could only print labels. So I went back to my old "Dymo Label" software, which recognized both the label printer AND the tape printer! But when I printed to a tape, it first jammed up, with the tape text all black (see picture). I called Dymo support (of course no answer) but a search revealed a lot of complaints about blank labels. Also, the tape cartridge is buried about an inch inside the machine, so I expected a lot of wasted tape. I was ready to toss the whole mess. But after I unjammed it and tried again, I found it does not waste the tape; it cuts and then fires the tape out of the printer and across the room! This is cool! So I tried printing a label and found it printed blank (see picture), just like my old Dymo 330. It was a software problem all the time. When I upgraded to the latest "Dymo LABEL" (NOT "Dymo Connect") software, everything works on the new label maker! So if your Dymo is printing blank labels, upgrade the software. If you like a tape-firing machine, get the Duo.
