Cute and good quality umbrella
My 3 year old daughter and I are very happy with this umbrella. It's a great size for her (but big enough that she can continue to use it as she grows) and it's not too difficult to open and close. Sometimes she doesn't have the strength to initiate the opening and sometimes she pinches her hand slightly when she closes it, but that's all part of owning an umbrella. :-) The colors are vibrant but not overwhelming. The dots and ruffle are totally adorable. From what I can tell, the umbrella is a nice quality. We've only used it for about 5 rainy days so far, so it's longevity is still unknown, but so far so good.

Pretty Awesome
Perfect! Our son is very into matching, so now he has a puffy vest, beanie, gloves, rain boots AND umbrella that all have this design and colors. It's a good size, bigger than most children's umbrellas found in stores (I find most of those to be 'toddler' sized). Our son is six going on seven, and this is the perfect size for him (he is 'average' for his age, size wise). I could use this as a parasol, but would only use his new umbrella if I was in dire need of one for rain. The handle is tall enough for him to use as a walking cane - which he tends to want to do. Construction seems very solid, but I wouldn't be surprised if a good strong wind blew it inside out. Easy to open and close - no metal tab to push in to close the umbrella and pinch fingers.

Very cute umbrella
My daughter was SO excited when she got this umbrella. She had been asking for one for a while, so I decided to get her one for Christmas. Unfortunately she had to wait a good 4 months before she even got to use it, but pretended a lot with it. The first day of rain that we got, her eyes lit up and she was practically shaking as she grabbed for her umbrella. She felt super cool using it, even just for the 20 foot walk to the car. This is really easy for her to open and close by herself (she's 4). It seems like it's really sturdy and the plastic handle is easy for her to hold on to. So far it's held up well for the few times she's used it and I'm hopeful it will stay that way. The design is super cute and the price was perfect, too. The hardest part was picking which one I wanted to get her!

Received the wrong color but it's still cute
I really like the one pictured however that is not the one we received. We received one with pink and yellow hearts with a ruffled edge. My daughter liked the one we received so I didn't return.I think this colorful one is cuter and better for older girls. The one we received looked more appropriate for younger girls. As far as quality, it seems very sturdy and stands up to constant opening and closing (rain or shine) from the kiddos. Seems like it will last us awhile.

It's Holding Up Beautifully
I read some of the reviews for this particular brand of umbrella (in other styles) and was wary that I could be ordering a lemon. I was wrong. My little one is loving this umbrella and not just to use it in the rain. It's held up (so far) beautifully to two decently rough kids under five. I have to say it's even cuter in person too. Love the hearts and love the ruffles. Little one loves them too! Update: This umbrella is still going strong three years later. The top fabric is finally starting to fray but even so it’s nothing major. Especially because it’s been used fairly consistently throughout various seasons and has even been used in dress up play.

Well made
Used as an Easter basket for my granddaughters … just opened it up and set upside down then filled with grass and goodies

Perfect for sun...not ideal for rain
so suprised by the quality of this umbrella. It is perfect for my daughter as she likes to open it around the house and it is smaller than a standard sizes umbrella so doesnt hit the doorways etc. Though not ideal for heavy rain for that same reason, the quality is far superior to more expensive umbrellas I have bought, the ends all have plastic glued on them so it cant hurt or pinch a child. She has been using it for months and it hasnt broken.

Very very small
The quality of this umbrella is not bad, but definitely not exceptional. It's of average quality. Yes, this umbrella is for a child, but even for a child it is very small. Ordered a children's 'totes' brand umbrella for my daughter and this one for my son at the same time. The totes one is quite a bit larger and provides much better coverage, while still being appropriately sized for a child. My son will likely end up using his old western chief kids umbrella instead of his new one due to the lack of coverage. My reccomendation: go with totes or western chief brands. Better quality, better coverage. Cool pattern design but average quality and poor coverage.
