Frabill Seine Net | Top-Performance Seine Nets

Have used a few times since we bought it, works well. It's made well and is lasting well even when it was left out in the snow for about 2 weeks because we got snow earlier than normal, it didn't harm it at all.

This net was a fun addition to our beach gear. It works well for catching small fish.

It’s a seine. Great way to catch a bunch of minnows. Laws are tricky about using them so be sure you know what is allowed in your area. Things I don’t particularly care for with this seine is the sag in it doesn’t seem to be as much as one’s I have had in the past. This could be the size I got. Next thing the rope to tie it to the pole could be made of different material that is not so bulky and holds knots better. The biggest complaint I have on this seine is the weights on the bottom. I understand that we are going to a lead free world but more weight is needed to keep this guy down for easy use. Don’t let my negativity detour you. Overall it sturdy material and worth the price. After all it’s just a seine and you can’t buy the material and make your own for as cheap.

Purchased for my marine biologist wannabes! We had to attach two plastic pipes on each end so kids could drag through the water - make sure the pipes aren't bendable as this makes it much harder to drag (me vs my husband doing this!) They have used this so much and had so much pleasure from it - they've caught pipe fish, puffer fish, minnows, you name it!

I added some PVC pipes to the ends and use it to sane for minnows. Already paid for itself

a bit heavy to operate, but works

I know it's a fishing net, but we're not using it for that. We live in the woods and we have sliding glass doors to the deck. Birds keep flying into the glass and are stunned. Thankfully none have died. We put the net up as a curtain over the glass to cut the glare and if they do fly into the door it cushions the collision. Using the net gives the birds a chance and we can still see out the window.

Really strong, I'm actually using three of these to tunnel around a hockey net in my basement. I have the standard hockey stop netting, and the minnow netting as a secondary to prevent hockey pucks from hitting my walls and ceiling.
