Beware of Any Damage
Case Came Damaged. But the item was still worth it. Just sucks that you are paying $20.00 for and not get the whole enchilada in one pristine condition. I didn't want to have to deal with the hassle of a refund or return. So I gave it 3 stars. DVD works fine. Case was not great, so it's a happy medium.

Adult like....
I'm giving it 4 stars because it's more adult like than child like. My grandchildren are 6, 5 and 2 so I had to fast forward a lot. I will be looking for a younger version of this story .

Love this movie!
Since this movie is not aired very often we wanted to have it in our home collection. Great movie, and fun twist on the original story.

The only thing I did NOT like is the fact that there seems to be no way to find particular "scenes" as is the case for most DVD"s!

Rubbish
I bought this on the basis of reviews and thinking that because jim Henson made it, it would have puppet characters in. Well it doesn't.The DVD is in two parts. The first part is very long and boring and only towards the end does it get interesting when it shows jack going up the beanstalk. Then part two is a bit better but I wouldn't waste your money.Would be of interest to maybe older children but not or a 5 year old .

Love this Film
This is one of my favourite films - very hard to find in DVD stores so very happy to finally find it. This DVD has a great cast including Matthew Modine, Jon Voight, James Corden and Mia Sara. Perfect for Adults and Children. Oh and when it comes to your delivery - outstanding. Less then 24hrs from ordering to delivery.

The real mistery beyond the bean!
A fan of Matthew Modine and Jon Voight (as his name was originally written), I enjoyed this tale in an amazing restyling that pushes to think a bit more. Worth not only for children!

good film..and effects
Good film..with jim henderson puppet workshop-(the muppets..man)..rather long though..good effects etc.. based on the original grimm story,but with a more up to date twist.
