Very thin, very well made, a perfect solution to the reading glass carry or forget problem
Disclaimer: I paid full price for these glasses from Amazon. I did not receive a discount and they are not part of any promotion. I have no connection with ThinOptics or any employees and no connection with Amazon. My reviews are always complete and honest. I received these glasses today. Normally I wait a few days or more before writing a review, but in this case, one day was enough. These glasses are exactly what I wanted. They are super thin and fit easily into their own super thin case (Pod). The adhesive on the back of the case is thinner than tissue paper and allows a tight mounting the the back of my Iphone 6. The glasses clip on my nose easily and stay where I put them, high on my nose or low. Vision is excellent. I'm sure they will last for a long time with just reasonable care. They are well made and strong, but anything, no matter how well made, can be broken by accident or with rough care. These glasses have a lifetime replacement guarantee, but as I said before, I am certain that with reasonable care they will last a long, long time. I highly recommend them for anyone who doesn't want to carry bulky reading glasses in their pocket, but have them easily available any time... like me. One more thing; when you receive your glasses be sure to register them on the ThinOptics website for the Lifetime Replacement Guarantee (instructions are included with the glasses). When you're there, be sure to look at their "Cleaning" video. It makes a point of saying that when you wash them, shake them dry. Do not dry them with tissue or a towel. I don't know why they can't be towel dried, but I'll handle mine as in the video.

Practical and Perfect
I’ve been buying these for years for my husband — and for good reason! Great quality, lightweight, and a great price. He never forgets or loses his glasses since they stay glued to the back of his phone case. Easy to carry, and as far as style… well, let’s just say it gets the job done. Practical, durable, and keeps him from squinting at the menu or phone! 😂

As the 5 Star rating suggests, We Love these glasses!
I bought 2 pair of these about 1 month ago. 1 for me and the other for my honey, who never seems to have his reading glasses with him! First I love mine, I have been wearing them daily since I received them. I now can also lay in bed on my side and watch tv without the ear piece pushing the lens off my eyes to I can't watch a movie on my iPad! I know sounds crazy but it is what I like to do! Second I can rub the corner of my eye while leaving these on, again sounds stupid but it is amazing to be able to do that without thinking about it! I have a normal width and bridge height to my nose and they stay on very well. I can easily turn my head, lightly shake my head, look down and up and they do not fall off. However I have learned that I can't drink hot coffee or eat a sandwich with them on apparently because I use too much muscle movement in the face area and then...yes they do fall off, but it makes me laugh when it happens because as another reviewer said there is very little warning when this happens. I have had them fall off in the garbage can and right into a pile of gravy ( which washed off easily) but that happened I think because I was in the kitchen cooking for a period of time and didn't reset the glasses onto my nose properly! They have a very small rough surface on the part of the nose area to help grip to your skin and while it is there I really haven't felt that it has affected my skin at all. Now onto my forgetful MAN... who never buys or wears his own glasses and is always taking and breaking mine! He LOVES his, he wears them, he knows where they are, because he likes them and thinks they are neat! He even puts the little case in his wallet and BRINGS his glasses to town with him! So for me this is WONDERFUL!!! Now being a man his nose is larger and broader than mine, but his seem to fit him well and they stay in place for him. However he doesn't wear his for long time periods that I do. We also love that they are frameless and so easy to look over the top and then right back to what you are reading without any effort or visual impairment. They are also so light you forget they are on your face and the bridge of my nose doesn't get sore anymore! I have noticed that mine are already starting to get fine scratches in the lenses, nothing too bad yet but keep in mind I take, carry and wear these glasses everywhere and other lens scratch also. We also own a business where we are in close contact with a lot of customers who always comment when I set these on my nose and I have so much fun telling others about them and letting them try them on.

Needs metal case.
I do construction work and wear my phone on a holster clipped to my belt. Also get in and out of van quite often. I’ve had them for two months and the case is cracking and won’t last much longer. Glasses are great and convenient. Only downside for me. Wish they made a metal case.

Almost perfect
I have mixed feelings about these glasses. Optically they are on par with my EyeBuyExpress glasses. And they weight nothing. And the carrying case and method of tucking them away works exactly as advertised. And they are so thin that it is very easy to clean them. My only problem is that I can't find a way to hold these properly if I am reading off my computer, that is, if I am looking straight. If I am reading downwards these work beautifully. If I am lying down reading a Kindle or watching movies on a tablet, these work magnificently. They are also great in the dark because it's very easy to orient the case by touch and tuck them away without touching the glasses. With regular glasses I always end up smudging them while trying to put them away in the dark. I can't blame the glasses because for all I know it could be the shape of my nose, but it just nags me that I can't use them in all three scenarios. As for the warranty, there was an insert warning me to go to their website to register them, that only took a few seconds. If these things fit your nose for your use scenarios, you will probably be happy with them. I obviously don't need to buy more since the warranty is for life, but if I were to buy these for somebody else I would rather go with a pair of EyeBuyExpress glasses. Update: out of curiosity I tried to wear these over a band aid. This solved the issue reading off my computer, and I don't have to re-position them at all while lying down. I am guessing my particular problem was either the shape of my nose, or the oiliness of my skin, or maybe a combination of of both. Update: I have been averaging 2-4 hours a day wearing these without any issues but I still prefer to wear them with the band aid. I am upgrading my review to 5 stars because I am actually very happy with them. Update (9/17/2016): One of the nose pads broke :-( I don't even know how it happened. What I do know is that it took less than five minutes to order a free replacement, and I am now wearing them just 3-4 days since I made the warranty claim. So yes, they do send you a fresh pair if they break. And yes, I am still putting 2-4 hours a day of use with these, they are great (as long as they fit your nose).

Super convenient and work great!
These have been great. I always have my phone with me, so after I stuck these to the back of my phone I never say, "Arrgh, I forgot my glasses." anymore :) I also really like the clarity these lenses have. I have purchased several pairs of reading glasses over the years, and these are the clearest (and seem to stay the clearest) of all. In fact, there are times at home when I'll pull out my phone and use my ThinOptics, despite having a pair of readers on the table right next to me. The only thing I would say frustrates me every once in a while is when they fall off. This is quite rare, and usually only happens after I've squinted/scrunched my nose, rubbed my nose, or something like that. The "grip" tends to be compromised a bit after doing this, and the glasses can slip/fall off. Not a biggy, and essentially my own fault I guess. Just something to be aware of. Overall, I've been very happy with the ThinOptics glasses and I've recommended them to many of my friends and family. I also recommend them to you if you find yourself forgetting your readers too often, or just want a pair that is super easy to carry around with you.

They work good but the smartphone attachment benefit is overrated.
These do work as advertised but Thinoptics should really clarify it's warranty. When you register your glasses the company states that the lifetime warranty applies to retail store purchases or those made directly from their site. I do not consider Amazon a discount store, it is an on-line store where companies and people can sell items at varying prices, like any other place. As these come in the Thinoptics box and is only fulfilled by Amazon, that should qualify for the lifetime warranty. As it is, its left as a question in the buyers mind, something Thinoptics can fix at no cost, just make the policy very clear. If a purchase through Amazon doesn't qualify for the lifetime warranty then the description should be honest and upfront with customers. No excuse for this gray area in the warranty policy. As short duration readers they work well. They fit my nose well but would not stay put for my wife no matter where she placed them. Thats ok because the website says it should fit most, not all. The lens quality seems very good and they are very light. You do need to make sure they are put on straight and that can take two or more tries since you need to flex them to put them on. With regular glasses you just slip them on and they line up, with these you need to do that. You also need to make sure they are equal distance away from both eyes and its surprisingly easy to have one lens closer to one eye than the other. You'll get used to it but its not just a stick on and use affair. They are very thin for sure. I did notice glare if there is any light behind you. An anti-glare coating would probably help. Since the lenses are either flat to your face or slightly tilted outward at the sides, reflections from the side easily show on the inside. If you wear them for more than a short read, you will notice them on your nose as they rely on a slight pinch to stay put. If you sneeze, be prepared to catch them because they will probably come off, it happened to me. Same with smiling. Overall, I'm satisfied with them. While not a replacement for regular readers, they are thin, light and easy to take anywhere. For reading menus, instruction sheets and so on, they do a good job. As for the smartphone attachment, that sounds better than it works. While thin, it has to make the case slightly thicker so if you like a thin phone, adding something onto it probably isn't for you. Sticking the case to a tablet or laptop works but only if you carry that around with you or buy another pair (probably the intent). The price is reasonable as readers are getting more expensive all the time. A nice bonus would be a quantity discount, say 3 for $35 or something like that. I won't buy an extra pair at the current price. I am still trying to find the place I'd attach the case to where the glasses would reside while still being available. Realistically, the answer is multiple pairs but regular readers, while being larger do offer some advantages and being bulkier, contrary to what you'd think, are easier to remember and not leave in a pocket of your other short, pants or jacket. If I didn't have a pair I would buy another but I won't buy more to have around.
