Polk Audio TL3 High Performance Satellite Speaker - Black, Single speaker - Priced and sold individually

I bought Polk Audio TL3 High Performance Satellite Speaker's 9 years ago and they work great. I recently added two more because I wanted ATMOS sound. Still a great product though I had noticed they have a little more of a plastic feel compared to my older ones. No impact on performance that I can tell, Worth getting.

Very clean accoustic sound ,not totally distortion free when watching a blue ray movie, but only when volume is cranked up way pass what it can handle.I played contemporary jazz saxophonist Najee's "My point of view" SACD in 5.1 surround on my PS3 and these speakers sounded remarkable and just as well on my sony SACD player with no distortion.Very nice design and build quality,pretty weighty for such a small speaker.Overall I would reccomend these speakers especially when used in a surround sound setting.

Mounted these as rears for my 5.1 system and they sound great. They were easy to mount to the wall using my pre-wired setup and I could not be happier. Will probably purchase two more to replace the Klipshch fronts which are currently bookshelf speakers sitting on the floor.I mounted these using Pinpoint Mounts AM20-Black Universal Home Theater Speaker Wall Ceiling Mount with Electrical Box Installation Adapter Plate and the setup looks great. I originally ordered two speakers. One came is the high gloss black finish that these speakers should have. The second was painted in a dull matte black finish and had a blemish on the top. It looked like a refurbished product. I returned it for a replacement. That replacement was also painted a dull matte black. Returned that one as well. The speakers sound nice but it would be great if they all had the high gloss finish that they're supposed to have.

This speaker works and it's well-built; however, the sound is flat. That was in the description of this item, but I like speakers with more high frequency sound. Overall, the speaker is adequate. The reason why I gave it three stars and not five is because of the sound. As stated before, the sound is flat and not more dynamic like I prefer. I replaced this speaker with Orb Audio MOD2s as left right and an ELAC center channel. The sound now is fantastic. I'm glad to have tried these speakers - just not good for my musical tastes.

The speaker became "blown" after a few months. Vibrates and is garbled even at low settings.

I really like these speakers. I got them for our bedroom tv hooked up to a yamaha stereo receiver. The sound is clear and robust. We have one of those HEPA air cleaners running in the bedroom, and we don't need to turn it off in order to hear the audio, or turn the tv up real loud.the frequency range is nice too. you get enough of the lows to make the music and sound effects sound good and complete, not flat or like there's audio missing. Sure, there isn't a thunderous room shaking bass, but they're not subs.

I purchased a pair of TL3 satellites to use for computer speakers. I have them connected to a Denon AVR-E200, a modest yet very capable receiver. I run HDMI from my graphics card to the Denon receiver. You need a subwoofer to complement these speakers (I am using a Polk PSW10).For what they are, these speakers are fantastic. If you need a great sounding pair of speakers, have a sub, and have space considerations where you can't use proper bookshelf or tower speakers, then the TL3 satellite speakers will do amazing work.
