No more pumping!
Love this pump! Sturdy and easy to use. Good battery life and it does exactly what I wanted it to do. Spot weeding, spraying gutters and deck rails with anti algae solution. I tried other battery operated sprayers and returned them. They either broke after one use or were just non-performers. I had gone back to the good old-fashioned pump until I found this Field King model, just by chance on a YouTube video.

This thing worked for me.
The tank is heavier than pump up tanks. I sprayed 7 tankfuls today so I know a charge lasts at least that long. The design is great. Pumping air into the tank rather than pumping the spray works well. I used he fan nozzle for my weeds. You also get a cone shaped spray with a different nozzle. There is one I haven't figured out yet, and there is a brass one that adjusts like we are used to with the hand pump sprayers. When I was done and had cleaned up, I put the adjustable brass nozzle on so I could report. First, I opened it all the way up so I'd get nothing but a straight stream. With the pump up to maximum where it shuts off, I got a straight stream out about 20 feet. Then I shot the stream straight up. I got maybe 13 or 14 feet straight up. I was sitting in a chair so the nozzle was maybe 4 feet off the ground, and the tank was on the ground. Then I tightened the nozzle down to where I had a usable stream that was 3 or 4 inches across at something closet to 15 feet. Straight up, that adjustment got maybe 12 feet. If I were standing and reaching, I could get 15 or 16 feet. That allows me to spray the tops of the trees in my small orchard. The wand seems strong. The hose is better than anything I've seen on a hand pump sprayers. I would have liked the hose to be a foot and a half to two feet longer. I put my tank on a small dolly. I also would have liked a 3 or 4 gallon tank. Regardless, I'd buy this again. Pump Zero did the job well. . . . and the disclaimer. I didn't get squat for this review. I paid for the sprayer. The sprayer did a good job for me so I said so.

You won't regret it
Had a backpack sprayer that needed pumped constantly to maintain pressure while spraying chems on the lawn... purchased this and omg I'll never touch a manual-pump sprayer again. No kidding. Just buy it. I did purchase a teejet nozzle to better fit my needs doing lawn chem apps, the flow rate of the included assorted nozzles was just not sufficient to get enough liquid out in a relatively quick timeframe (2 gals/1k sq ft). The nozzle did fix this issue and made the sprayer even better. For reference, I have a ~7500 sq. ft. lot. I use a lot of blue and green marker dye with my sprays, and the tank cleans out perfectly every single time. I've probably ran ~30 gal through it so far and only charged the batter twice. My biggest gripe would be that I can't trigger the pump to start pressurizing and have to wait until it gets really low before it auto-triggers on. This causes the flow to almost cease with some of the included nozzles. The after-market teejet nozzle is made for low variable pressure, so it isn't affected much at all.

I have seen the light
Absolutely incredible. So much better than the pump sprayers. Excellent quality.

No more pumping!
Great for no more pumping. Power on switch can be problematic.

Great Sprayer!!!
I was done with the manual sprayers so I purchased this one by Field King. The sprayer is well built and the extra nozzles are great. The Handle compressor takes a while to charge, but once its charged, its so easy to use and spray with about 20psi of pressure. At times when I was nearing a recharge, I did feel that the pressure was decreasing. Its a minor flaw. Just ensure that when you are about to use it, put the handle on a charger and charge till the light goes green. On another point, once the handle is charged and the light goes green, take it of the charger. This is not a unit you can leave over night to charge. The Pump Zero handle/compressor is the being used by many brands, Field King is one of them. Great Sprayer for the price.

Inferior design
I am astounded by the positive reviews for this poorly designed battery-powered sprayer. I am guessing that these reviewers have never before owned a battery-powered sprayer, and are simply enamored by the fact they no longer need to pump a manual-pump sprayer. But in reality, the need to pump a manual sprayer is a very minor burden compared to the other inadequacies of cheap manual sprayers. The most significant deficiency of manual pump sprayers is not the pumping - it is the leaking. Typically, a cheap manual sprayer available for about $10 at a big box store, begins to leak air after a few uses and becomes unusable after just one season. But, if buyers merely think of these manual sprayers as disposable, they are not really that bad. The other deficiency of cheap manual sprayers is the inadequate power behind the spray. But, if the sprayer is used only for small jobs, that should not be a disqualifier either. Unfortunately, this Field King unit, along with similarly priced battery-powered sprayers, suffer those same inadequacies as the cheap manual sprayers. It leaks air, meaning it takes considerable time to re-compress the tank, and there is very little power behind the spray even when fully compressed. The problem is that these cheap battery sprayers are designed to be manufactured cheaply. They work just like a manual sprayer, except instead of pumping air into the tank to create compression, the battery SLOWLY pumps air into the tank to create compression. It is actually much faster to simply manually pump in the air. But the real problem is that no matter how tightly you try to seal the top, some air is going to leak out. And with each use, the leaking gets worse, totally defeating the idea of a battery powered pump. There are much better options, but they cost much more. The better option is a battery powered sprayer that has a more powerful battery AND that constantly "sucks" the liquid out of the tank in the same manner that a spray bottle sprays, rather than simply compress air in the tank. With the sucking (or siphoning) design, there is no need to "compress" the air in the tank, which would inevitably lead to leaking and poor performance. Sprayers with that superior design are typically about twice the price and tend to have larger tanks. But to avoid inevitable frustration, buy the ones with the superior siphoning design. Also, if you buy one with tanks greater than 3 gallons, consider one with wheels.

Worth the money, and the time you save it amazing!
Bought this for spraying around my property. I had a pump sprayer, which was fine, but you always had to pump. Then, I helped a buddy out by spraying his restaurant patio (about 2K sq feet). They have a pergola and bushes surrounding the area. With the hand pump sprayer, it took me over 90 minutes to spray. Keep in mind, I was also spraying each pergola beam which was 12 feet high, and there were a lot!. With my pump sprayer, it was hard to reach that height. With the Field King, it was a piece of cake! I sprayed the area in half the time! This will cut your labor time in half! It also has several nozzles so that you can cater your spray pattern. Easy to use, easy to maintain. Well worth the money!

Excellent Sprayer
Works well, battery last for a long time. I used to have a backpack sprayer and I was tired of getting chemicals on my back. Many people comment that the Scotts is the same for cheaper except that the Scotts come with one nozzle that you rotate to get different sprays. People have been complaining about this nozzle getting stuck so I went for this one instead which comes with many different nozzles. One caveat as a reviewer mentioned, do not leave plugged in after the battery is fully charged as this is a dumb charger that keeps charging even after the battery is full. If you do, you'll destroy the life of the battery.

I've was looking for something like this ..............
A true back saver. Not only that. Are you using one of those pump "gadgets" that you have to pump every 3 minutes and then it gives you a little DRIP to put on your weeds? I would "scream". I went on the hunt and found this. Love it. The battery charges up quite quickly and lasts for as long as I need it. My yard is all red clay rock and so the weeds come up through the rock. I would pump the OLD gadget I had been using for years to get my tiny spray for one weed. This 2 gallon sprayer allows me to get the job done in 1/3 the time with NO pumping and a great spray. BUY IT! So easy to carry around.
