Great lock - heavy duty

I received exactly what was pictured in an original and Kaba factory sealed box. Be very careful when you order as the description says that it is field reversible. It is not! Only the knob locks are reversible. The lever locks must be ordered with the correct handing. Don't know what handing you need? Standing on the outside of the door what side are the hinges on? Or put another way, which way should the lever point? The model number starts with L for Lever. And then the next letter is an L or an R for the left or right handing.

Love the lock, very good quality and works well just know it requires you to drill a hole in the door and it’s not simple to set up.

I have bought several of these for various and vastly different security situations. Each one has worked flawlessly and continue to be dependable over many years.

Time & time Again The Inside Door Handle Strips Out The Mechanism... So you cant get out... It has something to do with the finger that goes into the door jam WHEN SOMEONE IS PULLING & TURNING THE DOOR LEVER @ THE SAME TIME IT RIPS THE APPLIANCE APART. This will be the THIRD TIME. As I see I probably will not be able to exchange. DO NOT BUY!!! THIS IS 100% GARBAGE.
