Hermitshell Hard Travel Case for COWIN E7 / Cowin E7 PRO [2018 Upgraded] Active Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headphones

Appears to be a solid case. Zippers work well, pocket inside has velcro across the entire width of the pocket to keep little things from falling out. Took off one star because I was expecting a clip on wrist strap. Instead I received a carabiner that is too big to fit in the little hook. Disappointed as I got it for traveling and wanted to be able to carry it on my wrist getting on and off planes.

The case is very nice, hard nylon vinyl on the outside with two zippers to unzip in either direction and a wrist strap. When you open it, it has a soft material lining in the inside and one side of the case has a mesh pocket with a velcro fastener. I was very excited when I received this and headphones for my birthday. But immediately upon opening this case there was a strong smell like a raunchy smokers hotel room. I thought maybe it was just a chemical smell from being new, and that it would dissipate. My husband suggested I use an essential oil so I put some on my hands and rubbed it all inside the case. I put in my new headphones and the next morning when I opened it, my head phones stunk like cigarettes as well. I left it open for a day or two to let it air out but on the third day it still was very strong so I put it outside. It has been out for 24 hours so hopefully it doesn't stink anymore. I really like this case so I hope the smell is gone. If it did air out, I will add another star. Would have given 5 stars if it hadn't had the smell at all. After 3 days open outside it smelled a little better but as soon as it warmed up the smell was still there. I have had it open inside for 2 weeks since and sprayed it with smell neutralizer and it still smells like smoke. I'm returning. Too bad, it's a nice case.

Purchased these for a tip to Honk Kong, thru the 16 hour flight there, and the 14 hour flight back, these held up very well. the batter life is really good, I only did a small recharge in the 16 hour flight and none on the 14 hour flight. Sound quality is great for the price and the Active Noise Cancelling worked decently well on the flight, drowning out the major engine noise and the nearby passengers. Comfort was good as well. as with all things they will start to hurt after a long extended use ( have dumbo ears), but the soft padded cups are very comfortable on the ears none the less. overall, a great value for the price.
