Fantastic knife block.The quality is outstanding , just the right magnetism to hold the knife without being difficult to remove. The knives make a huge difference in cooking . Very attractive set of knives. Recommended 100%.

I'm not sure if knifes were damaged or manufacture defected. All of them had imperfections and scratches on handles; and one had blade damage. It seemed like an open box item as all knife protection paper and plastic were open. Returning to Amazon.
