Q: I have Lopi Berkshire gas stove but mines not 8.25 inches long, is that the box dimensions?

It has been a while since I installed mine on a LOPI wood stove. The round part of this switch is about 3/4" diameter. I think I used 1/8" pop rivets on the mounting flange. I looked at the description for the 8.25 number. It's under color. No clue why they have a number there. they spade connectors on the back. If your looking for a temp on/off control for the fan on your Lopi, I am in are living room now listening to it turn the fan off and on when the wood stove makes enough heat.

Q: will it work on a buck wood stove 81?

I am unsure about your specific part number stove. I used mine as a replacement for a circulation fan on a LOPI wood stove in our living room. It trips off and on based on temperature to control fan. It works well for us.

Q: Is this compatible with Quadra-Fire pellet stove?

I am not familiar with that pellet stove. I use this snap disc to control the blowers on my fire place furnace. This particular one turns on at 120 deg and shuts off at 110. As long as it is able to sample the heated air and you want the blower that moves the conditioned air to turn on at 120 deg this would work just like a light switch turns on a light bulb by completing the circuit when it closes.
