Willow TreeThe Quilt, Sculpted Hand-Painted Figure

Got this piece for my mother in laws 60th birthday. She has been a Willow Tree collector for years and loves each piece. Each and every one of these pieces has so much emotion and meaning, I wanted something special for her birthday and saw this. I immediately knew this would be such a lovely gift and it would mean so much for her. I of course had to see it myself when it arrived (very quickly and safely by the way!). My mama also has collected these since I was born. Let me tell you, the pictures are lovely but they do not show how truly beautiful The Quilt is. Each stitch, the coloring, the beauty is simply stunning. I’m not a mama yet but I hope to be, and seeing how close and gentle the child is held and how snuggled up they are genuinely brought tears to my eyes (yes I’m very emotional LOL)! This is a wonderful piece to anyone’s collection whether you are a long time fan or just starting. The value that of that pure emotion and light it brings. Plus, I’d rather have wonderful pieces like this in my home (for such a good price!) than any wall art.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my grandmother in 2023! She absolutely loved it, it’s symbolic of all the children in the family she has rocked through the years in her special chair! Absolutely perfect & was so well packaged.

Never ceases to amaze me how beautiful this is !!

I started getting these for my wife a few years ago. Every year I get one that is symbolic of one of our life milestones with our kids. I know they are especially dear to her, and almost always bring her to tears when she links the figure to a specific memory. I even bought my mom one last year, and again, I got the same results. After this Christmas my wife will have 6 all together. Each one is worth every penny.Now, on to this specific review for this product. The figurine of the mother (or grandmother, it's all up to interpretation) holding the son (or possibly a short haired daughter, which is not entirely uncommon), is sculpted perfectly. It is a very good size, about the size of a kindle fire in width and length (that was the closest thing on my desk for reference, sorry). The color tones are very soft and natural. This piece makes a perfect mantle piece.I fully recommend this Willow Tree and any Willow Tree product. They also make these really neat journals with a have sculpted figurine cover. My wife uses it to write down all the things our boys do so that she can give it to them when they get older.Guys, if you buy one of these for your lady these will never let you down for birthdays, mother's days or Christmases......I guarantee it.
