I wasn’t sure what I was getting when I bought this for my wife. But the detail is amazing!!!! The weight and feel make seems as though it’s the real thing. It’s very high quality. The small details are what set it apart like tiny words in ares that say what a section is or that wrap around a tree. It’s small but still easy to read. It was money well spent. She loved it!

This chart measures 15-1/2 inches by 71 inches. It is vey well detailed and a lot of fun to puruse. Studying it makes one realise that we need more information about the layout of Hogwarts. Where each room and floor is actually located. One can spend a good amount of time looking at this map and keep seeing more stuff that may have been missed the first time. I really like it! It does come already printed and ready to use. The user has to apply the Homonculous Charm to it in order to make it actually work! That part I am still working on! The thing is, my wand arrived without its core, so I first have to get my wand to work!Because it is physically larger than Harry's copy, it is more difficult to fold up small enough to put into ones pocket!

I've been a big fan of prop replica items from Harry Potter for a while and this didn't disappoint. Noble Collection does a great job of creating really nice pieces for collectors.The quality of paper used is amazing. It's very durable if you want a map that can stand by itself. But if you want to scuff it up and wear it down for a more rugged look, you have some wiggle room to do so with the paper. It's much larger than you'd expect, so good luck getting a good hold of the map and opening each side with one hand!The actual design and writing on the map are not 100% accurate to the movie. All of the visuals and locations are there, but the movie has more line and writing detail overall, which you'd expect. But at a glance, and even a deeper glance, no one would know the difference (unless you have the map open while watching Prisoner of Azkaban, which I happened to when I was looking at it). It also features a very prominent Harry Potter logo and Warner Bros. legalese on the back, which is a bit annoying but also required.I do recommend this 100% if you want a nice collector's piece for your wall or shelf!

Bought this for my wife for our anniversary.She is a total Potterhead.(I've lost count of how many editions of the books she has)She has always wanted to have a Marauder's Map of her very own.Let me say, that this looks exactly like the one used in the movies. The print quality is so good, you could imagine the little footprints walking across it. (They don't, it's a static print)Lots of neat little pockets and secrets on the page.One thing to understand, this is a rather large collectable. So be careful.My wife loves it so much, she keeps it in the plastic it came with, if she's not looking at it.It's a great price and well worth the money spent.

WAYYYY bigger than it was in the movie. Great otherwise just wish it was a more accurate replica. The detail is amazing down to the little bits and the paper is thick kinda like a poster board so no use I'm worrying about rips.

I solemnly swear that I am up to no good. A fun addition to any Harry Potter collection.

I should have paid more attention to the dimensions because I had planned to gift this and frame it, but it's BIG. It feels nice and has that vintage paper look but it's quite large for framing. I like the detail and getting to look at the castle, but I wish they would have included more characters from the movies on it (Snape, Harry, even Dumbledore) rather than just Peeves' hangout spots.
