Very nice Digital Photo Frame
Very nice looking frame. The frame itself was easy to set up. Once I downloaded the app to my phone, it took a few minutes for me to get familiar with it so that I could begin to upload pictures from my phone to the frame. It is nice that the app allows you to set a time for the frame to come on in the morning and a time for it to shut off in the evening, if you don't want to keep it on all the time. I tested it out and it worked great. So far I am very happy with my purchase.

Purchased this as a gift for my parents. We all love it. The app is wonderful too. Definitely recommend!

Unable to add photos
Edit: Revising review to 5 stars. To no fault of the manufacturer of the frame the seller from this purchase S&W Dealz sold me a used frame labeled as new. With the tremendous help of an email and calls to tech support they dug into why I was getting the error that my frame had expired and to click to renew. They were able to push through the proper update. However, since they dug into why my frame was actually two years old and not new they advised I return the one from S&W Dealz and buy directly from them via Amazon. So I did that. My new frame arrived today and set up was easy!! Within 5 minutes I had photos uploaded to the frame. So excited to finally give this to my FIL. If you buy this, just go to other sellers and look for Simply Smart Home. I cannot thank their support and customer service enough.I've this a week now and can't even add pictures to the frame. This was purchased as a birthday gift and I can't even give it to the person. Waiting on a firmware update, was given a timeline of 3-5 days. Now on day 6 I am told it should be ready in another 5 days. Birthday is today, so now I am left with no gift. If given the actual timeline I would've returned this one and had another brand ready by now. Some friends have this frame so I know it can work and work well but so disappointed in the delay when this was delivered in plenty of time to have it ready for the birthday today. I can't expect my FIL to set this up himself.

Easy to setup and operate
This is our 2nd Simply Smart Photo Frame; we have owned other brands also. We rehomed our other brands due to the difficulty of loading photos from our iPhone. No problems exist with the Simply Smart Photo Frame, "Old" people can do it.The new and improved software has simplified the operation and provides no difficulty is loading to separate frame with different owners. Worth every dollar; loved by the Grandkids.

software needs an update
This frame was purchased for my mother who has dementia. I wanted something that was as fool proof as possible so that she couldn't accidentally mess it up. This frame does not fit that bill. All she has to do to mess it up is touch the screen and it will freeze on that image. Unless she knows how to use a computer menu (she's 87 and has dementia, did I mention that?) it will simply stay on that photo forever. This is a fatal flaw in the software and needs to be corrected. We need to be able to disable the touch screen to keep that from happening. I as the frame's administrator online should be able to control things from the ap, but can't. We're still going to give it to her anyway, but we're now scrambling to come up with a solution to keep her from touching the screen. We're likely going to have to install a plexiglass shield over it to stop her from touching the screen. Otherwise, it's a great product and I like it. Wish it had a way to fix that issue, however.

Second One!
We liked our PhotoFrame so much that we bought a second one to replace our first which stopped working! I would qualify my 5 STARS by saying they were awarded for the unit, most satisfied! As respects SERVICE, I would rank a ZERO STARS, at best! After multiple res quests to correct a chronic problem, I just bought a replacement which, perhaps, was their primary intention all along! When you have a chronic issue you want to talk to a flesh & blood, not a bot not cut & pasted articles you’ve already accessed! Fortunately we got 14 hours a day use, for over 4 years out of our original!!! Great product just keep your fingers crossed that you have no service issues!!!

This product barely worked 3 years ago and new ones don’t at all
I’ve purchased 3 of these in the past as gifts and the app was always kinda janky. “PhotoShare Frame” app barely worked but it did technically work. The instructions never matched to the actual app. Finally it works. But this was 2-3 years ago. I bought a new one for my grandma this year but I could not get the code to work at all. At the time, on Dec 22nd “PhotoShare Frame” was in the App Store with like 4.3 stars. But so was a new one, “PhotoShare Frame v2”. I downloaded the new one too and couldn’t get the frame set up with the code either. So I returned and replaced it and it miraculously delivered Christmas Eve. I got that one set up I’m using the old version of the app because it wouldn’t register with the v2. The old version of app doesn’t have the option to set it up as a gift either. So I effectively owned the frame. I had all of my siblings and cousins download the app but suddenly “PhotoShare Frame” was missing and only “PhotoShare Frame v2” with 1.2 stars was available. So they downloaded the new app and uploaded photos to the frame. Then on Christmas my grandma opens her gift and it has all of these photos on it but there but now she can’t get it set up on her phone. So I returned both and bought one that uses the Frameo app and it worked perfectly. Super easy. Way easier than this has ever been. And cheaper. And and the packaging for both of these that I ordered was smashed. So yeah. Don’t buy this.

Easy to use solution to share photos with family members!
We gave one to our 100-year-old mother and now various family members can upload photos of grandchildren and great-grandchildren for her to see regularly and it makes her feel much more connected to everyone. Easy to use. Works well.
