This is a must read - too often the plight of women in our world, much less our country is kept out of the history books... this book simply contains history that we need to be in the know about

If you are looking for a record of the movements laws, rulings, etc. that helped obtain rights and equality for women in the home, workplace, etc., then you are NOT going to find it in this book.Contains miscellaneous documents of what women were seeking, how they felt, blah, blah, but a little factual information on the laws that helped secure equality. Focuses on abortion, blah, blah.Not a source of substance.

Bought for my Women and Gender Studies class and is actually an interesting read, unlike other textbooks.

Absolutely wonderful to have this complex story all in one with documents activists will recognize,newcomers will want to read.

10/10 would intersection again.

Needed it for a class but was surprised that some stories were actually interesting. Others were awful.
