Telex Airman 750/Single Side Pilot Headset 64300-300

Second one I've owned, other one lasted nearly 10 years before I somehow blew the mic apart in my bag. Works perfect in any fairly quiet jet cockpit, especially when only using it for critical phases of flight since we are headsets off in cruise (long haul flying). No problems with hearing via single sided, even in foreign countries. Just with they made a version with Airbus/XLR connection so I wouldn't need an adapter.

Incredibly OVERPRICED for what it actually is.

The best feature of this set is its size and weight. Also dont having the second speacker that blocks your ear, wich in jets is no necesary.

This is perfect for all DC-9 series aircraft!

Nice and light

There is not enough volume to hear in the airplane when the engine is running. Comfort and fit are fine. I believe that a single sided headset with a sealed earpiece would work in a single engine environment.

i do not own this headset but I can tell you that it is not in any way designed for the average GA aircraft. After reading the previous review I realized that someone probably bought this for their piston airplane which is too noisy and doesn't output the wattage required to for a pilot to hear what's going on. I personally would not consider this headset for anything smaller than a large wide body airliner.
