it was thick. smells great and tans perfectly. I love it . I love designer skin and it is just like you buy at the shop

14kt is the best tanning lotion then they discontinued in the store

Best dark tan ever!!

I got back and forth between this tanning g lotion and sweet talk and noticed thus one gives me a deeper brown tan after using it. It smells nice and refreshing. My skin feels soft after use and after tanning.

I had not been tannin for more than a couple of weeks and had already hit a plateau. I had gotten darker really fast due to switching up my beds but then even though I went every day I was stuck. The salon people tried to sell me a couple of different lotions and let me try one with a tingle but their prices (especially after the 10% tax and 9% tan tax) was astronomical even though they said they were on sale. I am a designer skin junkie so when I realized 14 Karat was a plateau breaker I was really excited to purchase it here for $25 less than the salon. I saw a difference right away and now I don't have to tan as often because I am really dark after using it 3 times. I took a star off because it is the thinnest designer skin lotion I have ever had which makes it feel really messy. I don't think that is normal but since I have not used this specific lotion from the store I can't say for sure. Also, there is no shimmer at all to this lotion whatsoever which was really disappointing to me because I was really looking forward to that. I would definitely recommend this lotion. The smell is good too, not overpowering at all like most DS lotions that work well.

Originally bought a bottle of this from a salon for an extraordrinary price ($100, normally $125 - yikes!). Right away I found this on Amazon, ordered it, and took the expensive bottle back! It seems exactly the same and I haven't had any problems with it. I guess it works okay as a bronzer. I don't tan easily so it's hard for me to say if this is any better than any other brand - I mainly use the 'fast' suntan bed for just a few minutes once or twice a week to try to gain a little vitamin d during the cold, cloudy, winter days (plus in winter those beds feel so nice and warm and relaxing). It's an okay smell, and I don't mind it. (It's some of the after tanning lotions that make you smell like you've been tanning). The bottle seems like it will last quite a while. The product goes on quite smoothly and not too thick.

I'm sorry to say this but i did confirm with my tanning salon and this is not the real deal... It smells like a duck and walks like a duck but maybe a goose! The reason i'm giving it 3 stars is it works great! I did also save $20 by buying on Amazon so i don't have complaints but wanted to share. The bottle appears to be just as the one in the salons but ingredients and UPC can prove my statements. This being said i want to say I do have great color and my skin looks great!
