Samba Shades Light-Weigh Unbreakable TR90 Frame Bolle Sunglasses

Loved the look and feel of these sun glasses--much like my Maui Jim's. However broke right in half 5 days after I got them. At first I thought it was my fault because they were in my handbag without the case, so I threw them away. But after I thought about it--I have put every pair of glasses I have ever owned in my bag and none of them broke in half. "Unbreakable: should not be in this products name. Should have returned them for a refund. Too bad --they are nice looking.

I love the feel and look of these. They broke within 2 weeks. They also snap together and come apart often. That is a big drawback. Unbreakable to me means completely unbreakable and these are not. I love wearing them though so I am torn in my review.I have to amend my review. After a series of emails were my unbreakable product broke within two weeks I was told I could buy another pair at 70% off.... this is unacceptable and after trying to make my point they said I had to contact Amazon that they could do nothing else. Do not work with this company and their product is mediocre at best because they don't stand behind it. Their customer service while timely was unhelpful and not sympathetic to the client.

The only redeeming quality, if you can call it that, is that I ended up getting these for free. I would've returned them, but was told to not bother. I threw them out. The frame is "click together" to the lens and tell you what, they don't stay together long. Unbreakable only if you consider "falling apart" as being a design feature.

The fit and feel of the glasses is exactly what I was looking for and the mailing time and packaging was great. The only thing I didn't really care for is the actual clarity of the lenses. I realize that I'm not paying for the top brand in the frame/lens style that purchased, as I do own that one as well. However, I was hopeful and expectant based on the cost that the clarity would have been better than it actually is.

cheap , flimsy and not really upto the mark . lens feels like they are made of cheap plastic and do not have the look and feel of high grade sunglasses . i guess you are getting what you paid for

I bought these shades for a recent trip to Kauai we were going to be doing a lot of excursions and I wanted to have sunglasses that were lightweight, stylish, yet durable. These fit the bill. They provided good protection from the sunlight and were quite comfortable. I am happy with this purchase and would recommend them..

So far so good... I'll see them in the sunlight tomorrow... super lightweight and durable, and they seem to be slightly formable with memory to hold the adjustment to my ear and nose differential in both contour and height...
