Just do it
If you're looking at this, buy it. It's so worth it. My baby loves it, and I got one for my nephew too and he's doing great with it as well. His mom said she wishes she had heard about this with her older kids. Our kids are 3 months and 4 months old for reference.

Great for first potty
Bought this potty to try Elimination Communication! I would say great price for the amount of use I got. My baby stopped sitting on it around 7 months and we upgraded to a bigger potty.

Yes it’s worth it
I know what you’re thinking - $30 for a little plastic bucket and piece of fabric? But it’s worth it if you’re actually trying to do early potty training with a young baby. My newborn was crying when we tried to awkwardly hold her over the sink or a bigger baby potty. This one fits her bum perfectly so its way easier to hold her, we can just sit her on it, she’s clearly more comfortable, and all of that means more successful early potty training. It’s going really well now. So yes, this little plastic bucket and piece of fabric is worth $30.

Newborn pottying essential!
In my effort to minimize baby purchases, I didn’t start out with the top hat when my baby was a newborn. I thought I could just use the BabyBjorn potty insert for the newborn days. But my newborn baby was never comfortable on that insert as it is larger, so our EC journey was not off to a great start. Then I ordered this product. Game changer. It is the perfect size for a tiny newborn bottom. Also great for if you need to nurse baby on the potty. This was our all-day, every day potty for baby from the time she was a couple weeks old until about 6 months old. We never really used the potty cozy because I found it would just get soiled immediately and my baby was comfy enough without it.This product may seem pricey for what it is, but I found it to be worth it for my newborn’s comfort. I feel like this top hat potty was instrumental in our success with elimination communication

As advertised
Came with everything for the potty but it would’ve been nice if the was a instruction manual or something so I’ll just have to watch some YouTube videos

Wish I'd bought it years ago!
Update Dec 5th 2019:Found another awesome way to use this. As a travel potty! I pop a biodegradable dog poop bag in it (we have a dog, so had bags handy) and voila, potty on the go. My baby has used it this way a few times now when out and about. It's (literally) freezing cold here now, so pottying her in the great outdoors isn't really an option. Plus when running errands the baggy is great because she can go in the nice warm car, I tie a knot, and can dispose of it later when I'm able to. Very helpful with a tiny baby!I just gave birth to my second baby a week ago. We EC with our first, and I remember seeing this potty and wondering if it would be worth it, but never tried it. Fast forward six years, and wow I wish I'd have bought it back then!It is SO EASY to use. My eight day old daughter has pretty clear cues for when she has to pee and poop. This potty has made pottying her so easy we have caught almost every pee and poop since we got it. She is too small to actually be sat on it, but because of the shape/size I can rest my own hands on it as I support her legs, back and head with my body. It's great. The cotton fleece cozy is a fantastic addition too. Coming into winter it's nice not to have to touch the cold plastic, or to have her body touch it! We haven't really left our house with her yet, but when we do I'll be bringing this with us!

A must for EC
Thanks to this tiny potty that supported our EC journey, my first born was fully out of diapers by 10 months old. Got this for our second child, coming soon, and I’m already excited for all that will go inside. IYKYK :)

Works great for tiny babies
My baby did her business in this potty from 2 months through 5 months, but honestly if I would have known about these she could have used it from birth. We still use the top hat potty for travel but also have a larger one for her now. This style worked the best for her to potty while breastfeeding because it's so small and can be held at an angle.
