Overall it's a nice product. It's a good value for the money. What I didn't like about it is you don't have all 50 states separate . Some of them are joined together. And the one thing I do not like about this one OR any other one is they all show Alaska and Hawaii on the bottom left of the United States. That is not where they're both at in reality.

Fun way for a child to learn

Since we moved to USA, I have looked some ways to help my four year old to learn about the local culture. This puzzle has been a very nice choice. The puzzle is well built with light wood, and has the name of all the states on the puzzle-pieces. Once you remove the pieces, you can see the names of the capitals under them. The puzzle is very easy since the pieces have distinctive colors, and the pattern on the board after removing the pieces has the same colors. So if a state is red, my son just needs to look at the red "shadows" to see which one has the same shape. I think this is good, since it allows younger kids to solve it. The pieces fit well, maybe a little too tight once you complete the puzzle, but my son has no problems with that. My only complain is that the lines to show the names of some states (New Hampshire, Massachusetss, Rhode Island) are not aligned with the pieces, but this is a small issue in an otherwise great puzzle. And my son loves placing the pieces of the states we have already visited! Additionally to the puzzle, we also got him this book: America's 50 States , with interesting facts about each state.

We got this got this for our two kids so they have something to do while eating lunch as they like to play something at the dinner table for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My son who is five loves this as and he is starting to learn more states. My wife and I travel quite a bit and he is now able to put together what states we have traveled to so that is nice. The cherry on top is that he know tells our daughter and is teaching her the states. The only con is that the states are not a perfect fit. They are a tad loose and I wish they were a more tighter fit.

I had originally gotten this for my dad who has dementia. However, I overestimated his abilities and he was totally confused by it. That being said, it is a beautiful puzzle and very well made. My 91 year old mother enjoyed putting it together and I did as well, but of course it was no challenge for us. I will either give the puzzle to a neighbor who has young children or to some of my great-nieces/nephews.

Y’all, this Lift and Learn USA Map Puzzle is just the cutest way to teach the kiddos about the good ol’ U.S. of A! My little ones are having a blast fitting each state into place, and it’s so fun to hear them shout out, “I found Texas!” or “Here’s Florida!” The pieces are sturdy and just the right size for tiny hands, and the bright colors make it super engaging. It’s not just a puzzle, it’s a mini geography lesson wrapped up in fun. If you’re looking to spark a love of learning and a bit of patriotism, this puzzle is a must-have in your home. It’s educational and entertaining—what more could you want, y’all?

I love to buy stuff like this for my kids to learn. This was really fun for them. They are just now starting to learn about their states so this puzzle was perfect. The board is great quality and a perfect size to where they can easily store the board in their organizing drawers when finished.

I agree with most of the other 3 star reviews. The quality is lower than expected. Pieces dont fit very well and can shift, but its good enough. Something I haven't seen mentioned elsewhere is that the great lakes have the light blue color as some of the states, which is a little confusing.
