I’m still new to the cards, and I have found 2 things to be helpful when learning. 1). Find a good deck to work with. This took me a few tries, but I found a good one from an independent seller. 2) Get a good guidebook. The cards can be interpreted many ways. I appreciate how this book has a description for each card, but also for the minor arcana there are breakdowns for the suits and the individual numbers/entity on the card. For example, she has pages that lay out what the numbers symbolize and then how that applies to each suit. I’ve found it helpful as I develop my own understanding of the cards. I would recommend this to anyone.

After decades of collecting tarot decks, I had gotten used to the bland, sterile way that guidebooks are typically written. This one is a wonderful and refreshing change.The author, Angie Green uses a fantastically light-hearted and informal style to communicate the possible meanings and interpretations of the cards that I found genuinely charming. She empowers each user to utilize their deck of choice (the Author's own Simple Tarot is a great choice, but I still use a classic Ryder-Waite on most occasions) as they see fit. Whether you're a traditionalist or not, the meanings as presented in this book are very clear and relatable. This book has become my "go-to" for interpreting readings as it offers perspectives that are very well suited for those of us living in the 21st century.

I love this deck and book! I'd tried to learn tarot before but had gotten overwhelmed with how much there was to know. This book breaks everything down really simply but has all the info you need. Now I'm reading Rider-Waite and other decks with much great confidence!

A Lot smaller than advertised (it’s not inch but cm and even then it’s a few mm off so a star of for misleading information) but very handy guidebook for your first lessons in tarot. This is tarot made simple, only about getting to know the basics. Both about the major and smaller arcana. With certain comon elements so you can compare with other decks as well. No need to get the simple tarot deck but it is based on the Rider Wait system.

A little gem of a book. Excellent!
