Calvin Klein Men's Ultra Soft Modal Pants

I've needed to get some new pajama bottoms for a couple years and kept flogging a couple pairs of old cotton fabric ones I should have tossed long ago. I finally got around to shopping online for new ones. I wanted something soft, and really comfortable, even a bit luxurious. Not cotton or flannel. A fly is OK (these don't have one) as long as it buttons.I settled on these modal pants from CK, though I found them a bit pricey. They arrived in the mail earlier this week and I tried them on. I was flabbergasted at how comfortable they are. Soft, stretchy and they feel amazing.I'm 5'9", a muscular 215 lbs. I wear 35/31 jeans and the size L in these fits me perfectly. The hem just grazes the floor. It's as if they were tailored for me. Loose enough to move in but they look fabulous and drape flatteringly. I was so impressed after trying them on, I went downstairs and ordered a second pair immediately.I've slept in them all week and am very pleased. They're just ridiculously comfortable and soft. I wake up occasionally in the middle of the night and immediately think of how pleasant they feel. It was definitely worth spending a bit more for this fabric. You won't be disappointed.The only downside I see is the elastic waistband instead of something with a drawstring. We'll see how that, as well as the rest of the pants, wears. I'll probably hand-wash these anyway (care advice says delicate cycle machine wash and normal tumble dry.)As for the huge care tags on them that other reviewers have raged about, I really don't understand people sometimes. Scissors. Five seconds. Problem solved ;).UPDATE: 4 months later. Still love them. The only problem is that I don't notice how ridiculously comfortable they are anymore because I'm so accustomed to it ;). I wear one pair to bed, the other lounging at home, and rotate them weekly. Very pleased with this purchase.UPDATE: 18 months later (May 2021). Still love them. I've rotated the two pairs weekly wearing them to bed between October and May. These two pair have made it through two winters. I've machine-washed them consistently. One of the pairs, however, wore through in the front thigh, which was disappointing. The other pair is still robust. I like them enough, however, that I bought another pair to replace the worn one when the price (which had been 40% higher during the COVID panic than it had been when I bought them in late 2019) dropped back to a reasonable level.UPDATE: 4 years later (September 2023) The second of the two pairs I bought in 2019 was just about to wear through on the front of the thigh in early May when I stopped wearing them to bed for the fall/winter/spring (as the first one did.) Not bad for four years of wearing these to bed nightly seven months of the year and rotating two pairs. Just bought a new pair. A splendid product.

I really like these lounge pants. Size 34 is my norm and and the large in these pants fit me as expected. My mother always told me that you get what you pay for, and with CK clothing, I've found that to be true. I have been wearing CK Modal underwear for years, and these seem to be made from the same great material. It is very light-weight, super soft, yet very durable. I still have the first pair of CK modal underwear I ordered years ago, and after hundreds of washes, they are still holding up. These differ from the underwear in that they are loose fitting. Coupled with the light-weight material, be warned that swinging freely will be noticeable. Wear a long shirt with it, problem solved. :) Great for warmer weather.The only thing I would like to see improved on these pants is the waist band. What's up with putting an underwear waist band on lounge pants? Put a string tie or whatever. But the upside is, that if you need long underwear in the winter, these can double. I just ordered another pair with that thought in mind. I would like to see more colors also.

I've worn all sorts of track, running and sleeping pants as my "at home" pants over the years. THESE pants are the peak so far. They were also my first experience with modal, and they made a solid first impression.It's worth noting a few things before buying, though:- They're definitely home pants and not outdoor pants. There are only two pockets, not too deep, made out of the same stretchy material as the rest of the product, no zippers on them. A heavy phone could weigh the the pants down.- They run a bit small in my experience. I bought two other pairs of indoor wear pants from two other brands along with these, all size S. These CK ones hug my body, which feels cozy, but they are a bit form fitting and the waist is a bit too tight for comfort (especially after eating). I wish I had swapped them out for a size M when I had my doubts.- They are insanely soft. Best to be sitting down when you wear them for the first time (if you can manage that!) because it can be a bit shocking how soft they are.

These updated pants feel a little smaller than the one i bought a few years back. I believe they changed the elastic band size even for a small. And no i didn't get fatter.The update comes with pockets now so that is a nice thing about it. Seems to be holding up well so far but we shall see how it does a year or 2 down the line.If you want nice and smooth and lightweight pants, these are for you. Just make sure your buldge is covered if you wear this outside.

These are so comfortable and easy to wear!

I bought a grey pair of these in a Calvin Klein store early this year, and they are the most comfortable pants for home. I don't really wear pajamas but these are perfect for just lounging around at home, or for working from home. No one sees you below your chest on Zoom anyway, right? I ordered 2 more pairs of these in dark blue and black (original pair was light grey) just to switch things up a little. I imagine these will serve me well for many years.

My grandson has preferred clothes designed by Cal in Klein since he was 15 years old. He likes the comfort. fit, appearance, material, & durability. When purchased on sale, it’s a great value for the money.
