TRIXIE Santander Floor to Ceiling Cat Tower, Adjustable 96"-108" Height Sisal Cat Scratcher, Cat Condo, Platforms

I only like cat stuff that kind of blends in so I love these single pole ones that can go in the middle of my double window. My last one was a different brand blue one that I sisal wrapped myself and covered each step in tan carpet and it gave me 4 good years. This one seems more sturdy than my last (the double legs and box towards the bottom really help the sturdiness factor) and I love that it has the little cave and that it's below my window. This has 5 of the same length posts and one longer one by a few inches, my longest one is at the top because of my window height but you could always swap it to right above the box part if you want them to be able to get a few inches higher at the top, they're all interchangeable. My last one used a spring loaded pressure thing to hold it to the ceiling but the top of the post ended a good 6-8 inches below my ceiling, as you can see, this one is taller and goes all the way to my ceiling and what is provided to extend as far as you want to the ceiling would never fit so I used a white round rubber disc and it's tight to my ceiling nicely. I was unsure about this one based on the photos because I really didn't want some harsh golden tan horrible color like the photos make it look, but I was pleasantly surprised, it really is a light beige, not at all how the photos they have up make it look. Mine show what the color really is. Got here in about a week, took no time to put together, required no tools or anything it doesn't come with (except the rubber disc I found to use for my specific circumstance). Just measured my ceiling and it's exactly 8 feet, so this cat tree came to an inch less. The part they provide that screws in to the top gives you between 2 and 15 extra inches to make it tight to your ceiling. If the gap you have from the top to the ceiling is less than an inch and a half (like mine) you can't use what they provide. If your ceilings are higher than 9'2"-ish this won't work for you. I screw mine together as tightly as humanly possible and it's 7'11" without the extender part, you need it as tight to your ceiling as you can get it for stability, I find if you have to rig it like I did rubber is best so there's no sliding against the ceiling when they jump up it. You could also leave any section of post or any step out if you needed to in order to allow for way shorter ceiling height, it would still work. Since i wanted to know the measurements before I bought, here they are: Floor to top of cat cave/box is 27" Cat cave/Box: 14"(w)x14"(d)x10"(h), walls have no thickness at all to them, inside has same carpet, no padding (I bought a 14" square seat cushion for inside so there's a bed and I can remove and wash it) 5 identical posts are 15.5" 1 longer post is 19.5" Each step is a little less than an inch thick and 13.75"x13.75" Base is a little thicker than an inch and 15.75"x15.75" Total height is 7'11"-8' (depends on how tight) Update: I originally turned bottom step to the right, middle step straight forward and top step to the left because it's what I did with my old one, but these steps are square so they're shorter and fatter than my old Wal-Mart one. This didn't give them enough step surface to get down easily, turn them left right left or right left right, much more room to get down without clawing into the step for dear life. Another recommendation, I had 4 round non slip furniture pads left from the pack I got to keep my couch from moving when someone sits down, I put them under each corner of the base and it really makes it rock solid and under no circumstance will it move or slide even when they aggressively leap up it.

Installed in my RV for my 2 cats. Had the Walmart version before. It lasted 1 year. This has softer cloth on shelves and I prefer the sisal on the posts. Neither cat has gone in the box so it is now my coffee table. (This is a small RV.) The Walmart one uses a spring to hold it against the ceiling. This one uses a screw bolt. Both work fine but I can't easily move this one to retract my slide in. But if you are leaving it place, it's fine. The cats love it. Wish it came in blue EXCEPT this one matches my cats' fur.

This thing was ridiculously easy to put together (note: instructions are in German, but the illustration is accurate and super-easy to follow), and also quite attractive to look at. As you can see from my photographs, it easily blends into a room with maximum space-saving and minimal (window) view disruption. There is an issue with stability, in that the higher levels wobble a bit due to a shaky connection to the ceiling. However, this is easily resolved by securing the top-most platform to the wall with a simple L-bracket. Once this is done, this thing is as solid as they come, and I've no doubt kitty will love it. (We're awaiting the birth of our chocolate point Siamese kitten, due mid-March, and are getting things ready.) 🥰

FIRST, this is sold in the USA to a customer in the USA and yet THE ONLY INSTRUCTIONS are in GERMAN!!!!! Yes, one can figure it out but one shouldn't have to. SECOND, it is worthless in that it is unsteady no matter HOW TIGHT I TIGHTEN THE TREE TO CEILING BOLT! Would I recommend this product? Absolutely NOT. Once again, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR came back and bit me in the ass. I really should have known better but in the past I have purchased cat trees for in this price range and after years (5+) it is still rock solid and going strong. This one, I will be lucky if by the end of the day my 10lb cat doesn't have it knocked over. I would return it for a full refund if not for the fact that even though it was shipped to me free you can bet I have to pay to ship it back and it would easily cost me half the price of the product to return ship it. .................................and ONE STAR IS TOO HIGH FOR THIS PRODUCT but Amazon doesn't have the option of ZERO

This is one of the few cat trees that fits behind my daughters bedroom door and fits perfectly. I do use 'L' brackets on one of the platforms to screw it to the wall, or I don't think it would stay standing up for months on end with cats jumping on and off it. Plus, that keeps it from banging into the wall as they jump on and off. Easy enough to do. I did use molly screws in the drywall so that the screws don't rip out of the wall. One cat loves this and the other could care less and seldom gets on it. But for the scratching posts the one cat shreds them, so well worth the investment. And reasonable price. I managed to catch it on sale this last purchase. Hope they keep this one around, works great for tiny spaces. Easy to assemble, all except for the topper that takes a while to screw into the length needed. Next time I'll cut the threaded screw shorter, but not too short.

The cats love it, but right now I have it set up without the top shelf and pole. With the top and shelf and pole, it is just barely too tall for my ceilings, which I am pretty sure are standard height. I thought maybe I could use the extender on top of the next-to-last pole but then it's too short. Also the extender does not have any type of spring mechanism that I can find. It's just a threaded rod that you screw into the top pole. I'm probably not going to bother returning it because I haven't found anything else I like and the box it came in was literally falling apart - pieces were left outside of it when it was delivered. Just be sure to double check the minimum height and measure your ceilings....

With disappointment and frustration I have to report that the Santander TRIXIE Pet Products Santander Adjustable Cat Tree House is unsafe. I ordered it because of the shelving height but am disappointed about a number of points: • As mentioned in most reviews, the top is NOT steady—it is a very weak point in the design. It wobbles and bends and cannot be secured to the ceiling as provided. (fun-fur covered pressboard disc slides on the ceiling and it is not possible to get good pressure with the screw system • The plush fabric covering the shelves is soft, but has no traction or grip. It's essentially like soft, slippery stuffed animal fur, and my kitty cannot get a grip into it with his claws. (dangerous when climbing, especially descending) • The shelves are not long enough for the design to be safe. My cat has nearly fallen several times when trying to climb down from one shelf to the next. With the directional positioning of the shelves alternated, there is only a few inches of landing room, and again, that fabric is slippery. • Height distance between each shelf is too much for my 8lb cat to safely jump given the wobbliness of the assembled unit and the shortness of the platforms. Perhaps a larger cat would have less trouble with the height, but a larger cat would probably knock this thing over. So, it seemed like the design would be okay if the top part was fixed and if the fabric was changed and if the shelves were about 3" longer. As it is, I sadly can't let my pet use this product, I fear for his safety.

Great, a bit tall for our ceiling but they do include the measurements so that's my bad. If you need it a bit shorter, take out the shelves. The cats like it better as just a pole with one shelf at the top; they seem to get a lot of satisfaction out of climbing all the way up like it's a tree trunk and perching on top. I've had it for over a year and I have not been remotely gentle with it, nor have the cats. It's holding up great! Only problem is that the soft parts are very slippery; when the cats stand on the little hut and reach up to scratch on the sisal, their feet slip around. I added a non-slippery cover to try to help them, lol

Looked for ages for something suitable for a large breed and with a budget. This turned out to be an excellent choice! Reaches the ceiling and therefore gives extra sturdiness which will be necessary with a heavy cat! I altered the layout a bit by leaving out one of the platforms so that two poles join enabling a large cat to be able to stretch up fully and enjoy the scratching. Bought it in cream so doesn't look an eyesore in the room!

Für den niedrigen Preis darf man sich keinen stabilen Qualitäts-Kratzbaum erwarten. Bei uns steht er neben dem Küchenschrank als Aufstiegshilfe und ist zur Stabilisierung dort festgeschraubt. So wackelt nichts und er erfüllt seinen Zweck.

First, you need to have 9 foot ceilings or this will not fit in your house. Second, as soon as my cat got on it the ceiling of the box collapsed and the whole thing came crashing to the ground. Good thing I was near by to catch my falling TV that it smashed into. I have another product similar to this from another company that I've never had any problems with. DO NOT BUY
