Optical Quantum 6X 50GB BD-R DL Double Layer White Inkjet Hub Printable - 10 pcs

There really isn't much to say here. This discs get the job done well at a reasonable price of $3.41 at the time of review. These are 50GB discs so these are great for data storage or burning high quality files at a lower compression If you need discs at this size, I would definitely recommend these. I have not had any duds yet; So far they have all worked.

They worked fairly well. No bad discs in the bunch yet. Still wish they were cheaper though.

I had hoped that Amazon's price on this 10 disc spindle was a sign that dual layer Blu-ray recordable discs had finally fallen to reasonable prices. Sadly, that was not the case. At any price, these discs were too expensive.My burner, an LG WH14NS40, is specifically listed at the manufacturer's website as compatible with these discs. Apparently, compatible means something other than what I expected: a single disc out of the 10 pack was recognized as a valid Blu-ray recordable disc. I couldn't even attempt to burn the remaining 9 discs. (The one that was recognized ended up a coaster. I can't blame the manufacturer for that one, though, since it was due to a software crash that halted the burn.)A 90% defect rate is not acceptable for anything. I won't be buying this brand ever again.

I have tried many times using different software titles and still cannot write to these BluRay Disks. I'm not sure if these disks are no good or maybe I'm doing something wrong. I would try a different set of disks but it's not worth it at these prices. I will update this review in the future.

I've had mixed success with these disks. Of this batch of ten, two were successful burns and two were coasters. The program I use for burning may be responsible for the coasters but I haven't burned enough to confirm this suspicion yet. I was successful using Nero Burning Rom but unsuccessful trying to use Acronis Disk Image 2012. I like the price and if I continue to have successful burns with Nero I will probably buy more of these as I need them.

Burning Blu Ray disks can end up a costly failure and I was apprehensive when I ordered a 6-pack of Optical Quantum printable 50 GB dual layer disks. I was very pleased with the results and can recommend this brand. The disk burnt correctly and the printable surface came out clear and bright after ink-jet printing. Just make sure the disk is clean and that, after burning, any fingermarks are removed to prevent play-back issues.

Not a coaster in a carload love this product!

This is a great product and if you need a50GB hub printable disk this is the packageto get. I have repeatley ordered this packageand have not found a coaster in any one of them.The price is right and so is the seller.
