Bought as a gift for Christmas so can’t comment on the flavour but the packaging and jar is very nice and feels a bit special (as much as a chutney can!) A must for anyone who loves all things Yorkshire.

Not as thick as their other Chutneys
I love most of the Cartwright & Butler chutneys but this one was disappointing.Very runny not much texture.

Leaking alittle. Looked good
This product was leaking on arrival. With the seal broken.I would have asked for a refund/resend if it wasn't already past the date I needed it for and the hassle.

Not to my taste.
I bought this with high expectations considering its price but sadly I was disappointed.It is presented in a very nice little jar with a ceramic lid and a very strong spring clip.It contains 13% swede and that flavour is very evident to an overpowering degree.Other than swede flavour it tastes of very little else.In future I will stick to better known cheaper brands of chutney.At least the jar is reuseable.
