First time using audio stand..should have done it long ago
Great stand. I purchased the rollers and am glad for the little buggers. In putting together was constantly remarking how well built it is. Not a carpenter by any sense, but the eaze of assembly was helped by the exact fitting parts. Bought it for new hut. Hardwood floors in music room...no biggie, but had my number uno amp shoot craps. Had to change out my old reliable Cambridge. Use 2 sets of speakers and all inputs except reel to reel. Looks like cable mess in back..with the rollers just one handed the stand 180..so so so cool. Withe eaze of use will clean up cable mess someday..oh probably not..oh, one more plus. Mrs likes it. Mainly for the wsy it compacts the system for space saving..i even have a pre amp and equalizer stuffed in the little wonderstand...solid as a rock too..gonna outlast me for sure..looking for a well thought out, essy to assemble, great looking stand buy it now.. i mean it...today right after taking out trash...no just do it now..haha

Great value
This is a very sturdy and attractive product. As you handtighten, it is possible to leave marks on the underside of the bottom shelf where there is jo metal from the x-brace to act as a washer. While the shelf is quite sturdy, because it is far taller than wide, it is possible to generate lateral movement. In practice and use, this is not an issue at all. Perhaps those with superbly resolving systems might notice some resonance but for my very nice kit and ‘table, it is unnoticeable. The rack itself is attractive in the carbon fiber patterned vinyl.

worth every cent
I purchased one of these before (espresso), which is now in the upstairs office. I ordered this one in Rosewood because the color looks better in the living room and the bracing makes it look even better. I also modified this one by doubling up the legs on the lowest shelf so that I could put my sub on that shelf, since that room is low on space. I had an extra set of x-braces from the other rack so that I would have braces all the way up. It's really sturdy and heavy and I'm not getting any resonances from the braces with the sub(I like bass!). If you're considering this rack, get the caster wheels (available here on Amazon),very handy.

The erector set for AV organization
Despite a couple dented metal posts, this is a very nice product to help organize AV components. When I first assembled the shelf rack per the instructions, the bottom shelf had the tallest space. I ran with this for a bit, but decided to add a fan unit (vented to the rear) atop the AV receiver, increasing the height requirement. Not wanting to put this receiver/fan combo to the bottom shelf, I re-assembled the entire rack to "move" the tallest shelf to top. Now it all fits nice. While I was at it I ordered a shelf for the bottom space since I didn't need all the shelves for thin AV components. The shelf mops up lots of "stuff" into the "basement" of the rack. Wife didn't like the black shelves, but knowing my luck, the available wood finishes probably would not have matched those book shelves. So black it is. One listen to the new system seems to have put this "decorating blunder" in the past. Whew. The sturdy posts make for a stable and sensible place to lash and tidy up wiring as shown with the speaker cabling and some of the HDMI cables. Posts are big so think Pi times diameter plus cables... I purchased 12 inch velcro wire straps for this purpose. This works better than I hoped taming the cable mess especially as seen from the front. The carpet spikes are the bomb. I hate carpet. Take THAT carpet. I would like to see optional shorter posts (2.5 inch or so) to provide more shelves for thin components in the same height... one component per shelf rather than stacking components in a taller space. Yeah... mechanical overkill, but this is about looks too you know. I almost took a star off for the dented posts, but I like the result well enough. The concept of how all this works with some simple and basic mechanical interconnections is brilliant.

Well constructed
This thing is built like a tank. It is relatively easy to put together, even for someone like me. I don't think I swore once during the entire operation. This is a really nice product. Audio people, just get it.

Very sturdy
We liked this item because it was very sturdy to hold our equipment. We did buy the bigger feet since it was not going to be on carpet & it definitely helped with our needs. Easy to assemble & great color.

Why the claws?
Many other reviewers noted the solid build, and I second that. Easy to put together, too. The one really weird thing is that the whole thing rests on 4 posts that taper to a very fine point that will mess up your floor something fierce. They give you these 4 tiny, easy-to-lose coin shaped things (the size of a penny) to put under each foot, but as I was maneuvering it into position it scraped up my floor pretty bad. There is no design or structural reason for this stupid choice; it's otherwise very well constructed. But until they fix this, prepare to put some kind of floor scratch protector under each leg unless you want to destroy your floors.
