UpdateAfter a few months of having this I have enjoyed the product. It only fits ipad mini or smaller tablet. My only two gripes are that wish there was left and right sided or that I could switch the pockets, have you ever had two kids fighting over what to watch? Luckily I had a crappie small old tablet and a mini. The straps around the front snag your clothes, but if you position them down far enough reduces problem. My four year old has definitely tested the product and I can say, thank you for the durability.Here is my recommendation for parents, get this product, keep any old devices, I am not big on headphones for kids so by two cheap bluetooth speakers (do you really want to listen to Clara bell cow for ten hours, the speakers on most devices are in the rear-end yeah right where I get to hear two different shows) and purchase a portable WiFi hard drive. This setup has saved me on some multi hour drives. Be free to ask for more information.I have been testing two different kick mats, this one and one that has a pocket for tablet. My one year old tends to keep his feet down because the video distracts him so no wild feet are in his way. I think what would really help both products is having a slip cover to go over head rest with capability of tablet fitting inside. I will update further as more abuse comes along. My ex is also using the same products so we are comparing notes on which is handling the punishment of toddlers. One has velcro and elastic to keep is attached while the other has a clip, will get this corrected because I like the clip version, the elastic I don't like in terms of appearance and things are getting caught..

Not overly happy with these kick mats. I purchased them primarily to protect the seats of our Ford Expedition. The iPad Pouch was an added bonus. However, once I installed them, they just fit the entire back of the seat. The latching system is nothing more than two elastic straps secured together with Velcro for the bottom, and a snap latch for the top. I have found that if you can keep the bottpm strap from cheating up, with tightening the top, adjustable strap, and keep upward, pressure by hand, on it, it stays taunt and conforms to the seat. However, once you let go, it bunches up, exposing the seat back!Also, I was not overly impressed with the iPad Pouch. It is a nice idea. However, it is on the flimsy side, and can easily be penetrated if you have aggressive children. Mine is already broken after 2 weeks!To be fair in giving this review, I should mention that one of my children is a Special Needs Child. And can be on the aggressive side at times. Also fair to mention that my seats are large in it being a full size truck. If I had smaller seats, even with the kick mat bunching up, it would still probably cover the seat. That is the reason I gave it 3 stars as opposed to 2.I would not recommend the mats to anyone with a full size vehicle with large seats. Try a different product.

What is it about kids and their feet on the back of the seat in front of them? My grandsons all climb in their car seat and then use the back of the seat in front of them to push themselves back into their car or booster seat. I am always telling them to get their feet of the seats!Our vehicle came with a video system built on rails in the ceiling. The back of the front seats are hard shell and store the headsets and movies. The second row of seats do not have any protection and these kick mats are the perfect solution to protecting them as well as providing pockets for small items and the tablet for those times when the little ones can watch something different.Peaceful times in my vehicle when both sets of little ones can watch their own shows!The kick mat back seat covers have two pockets, the clear one (9″x 6.5″) is designed to hold a tablet or mini ipadand a mesh pocket (6.5″x 6.5″) is great for holding all the little things that have to make the trip.It is made from a heavy duty polyester that was double stitched on edges and seams. The adjustable clip on the top along with the velcro bottom strap ensures a snug fit in almost all vehicles.I like that they are sold in a convenient 2 pack! I mean most vehicles do have two seats in the front.The seat protectors are great in helping to keep your vehicle neat and organized. On the positive side it is really easy to attach and the pocket i big enough for the iphone or ipad mini that we wanted to put in there. Unfortunately it does not work great for the back seat when using a rear facing carseat. It works but only okay. The material is quite flimsy which makes it move around when my daughter kicks it. The pocket is a little bit too low which makes the screen go between my daughter's feet. I would also prefer the screen to be in the middle and not on the side. But I will not fault the product since it doesn't claim to work with at rear facing carseat. I was taking a chance. It might work great on the back of the front seat. What I can tell for sure though is that is not as sturdy and well made as our previous seat back protectors. I'd say the quality match the price point.
