I am impressed with this product. I used it to attach an umbrella to a chair on a small balcony and it works very well. I like that it moves side to side and backward and forward to follow the sun. I read a couple of reviews where people said the holder slips and doesn't stay in place. But the "gears" are racheted so I don't know how they can slip. Maybe these people mean the mounting piece slips on whatever they have it attached to. But I tightened up the screws as far as I could and it seems to fit very securely. I AM ADDING TO THE PREVIOUS REVIEW, ABOVE. NOW THAT I HAVE USED THIS FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS I AGREE WITH THE OTHERS WHO SAID THE PRODUCT SLIPS...THE WEIGHT OF THE UMBRELLA CAUSES THE HOLDER TO SLIP ON WHATEVER IT IS MOUNTED TO (IN MY CASE A CHAIR, BUT SAME CIRCUMFERENCE AS A GOLF CART) WHEN THE UMBRELLA IS IN A DIAGONAL POSITION (NOT STRAIGHT UP AND DOWN). THE COMPANY TRIED TO DEAL WITH THIS BY ADDING SOME STICKY PATCHES TO THE MOUNTING PIECE, BUT IT IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO PREVENT SLIPPAGE.

Not all umbrella models will fit correctly, holder seems sturdy enough to hold up under daily use, I been using it most of the summer, good quality product, fit is spot on…

I looked for a while for an umbrella holder that would fit my Tourtrec one click golf push cart. This Bag Boy Universal works great!!! I did have to remove a small piece of the rubber grip on the handle to get the attachment to fit. However, someone with engineering savvy might figure longer screws would work on the handle attachment. When the product arrives, the four screws and the set screws are already on the attachment. An Allen wrench is included to enable you to remove the screws. Then you separate the parts and attach it to the cart handle. Putting on the umbrella holder is easy. The holder will accommodate a sturdy golf umbrella. I use it for walking on the course on a sunny day. A must for the weather in Alabama.

Unfortunate design. This umbrella holder works great if there is absolutely no wind and you push your cart in a straight line with no elevation change. Although the design and the quality of the build are good, there is a design flaw: the umbrella constantly needs to be retilted, even when it has been adjusted several times after 4-6 holes. The "teeth" slip with movement, making the umbrella wobbly and unsteady. To top this, the summer Texas heat made the adjustment pressure screw punch through the rubber "stopper" that is supposed to help with stability. Hence, after a short month of use and maybe 4 rounds, this accessory is now useless. Given that the return window has passed, it unfortunately will go in the recycling bin.

This umbrella holder works but not well. You have to constantly tight the knobs as you walk. There is a plastic knob that pushes against the umbrella handle via a screw. That plastic knob will fall off essentially leaving your umbrella flopping around. You have to carefully install and screw down the handle. Dont allow that plastic piece to move up or down. It is also very hard to reset in the tube since it only has about less than 3 inch diameter. I enjoy the shade when not too windy and the course is flat. Not ideal at all.

The listing here is not clear at all. This holder has two attachment options, the basic clam on style, or it attaches to the little square thing on Bag Boy disc golf carts - just like the stock one. The umbrella holder that the disc golf cart comes with is designed for midgets. You can't adjust the angle and if it's straight up and down you can't stand under it. It's a scam just to sell you this so you can actually use it.

Bought as a replacement to original holder which was useless. For those who enjoy walking and want to keep the sun or rain off you get this. Very durable, fits Bag Boy carts perfectly and holds the umbrella very tightly.

Tuve varios, casi todos endebles. Este funciona muy bien. Rígido, como debe de ser para que el paraguas no vaya "bamboleando".

Extremely sturdy and worth the money as it’s a perfect fit for the trolley- I had tried a cheaper version beforehand but it kept slipping off.

Je suis contente d'avoir trouvé une pièce originale pour mon Bag Boy. Super facile à installer et avec un dispositif qui assure une bonne stabilité au paraplui / parasol.
