AllPondSolutions Pressurised Koi Fish Pond Filter Complete Kit with Pond Pump and UV Steriliser Light All in one - Ponds Up to 3000 litres - PFC-3000-KIT

I bought the All Pond Solutions PFC-3000 for my small pond with just 2 fish in it. The all in one filter, already installed, would never keep it clean. I bought this one based on the product reviews by other buyers. The installation went well. The flexible hose supplied was difficult to fit onto the hosetails but dipping the hose in some hot water made the job a lot easier. After just one day I could see a difference in the water clarity and on the second day I could see to the bottom of the pond. I've also noticed a reduction in the algae. On day 3 the water returning to the pond had slowed down slightly so I did a filter clean with the crank handle as per instructions. Nice and easy and the water flow was restored. Very happy with my purchase, the supplier answered a couple of questions I had promptly. The only criticism I have is the filter doesn't come with any bio medium though some can be added.

During installation discovered that the fittings for the filter were 3/4inch whereas pipe supplied within the kit the was 1 inch. it looks like the kit was sent with the wrong/missing fittings at the write up suggested that 3/4 - 1inch fittings would be supplied. Managed to get the 1inch pipe bodged onto the 3/4inch fittings with out any leaks after a few attempts. I am still not comfortable that this will hold for ever. However goods new after just 3 days pond is crystal clear. All Pond solutions great product just need to make sure the fittings and pipe are compatible. I would have scored 5 stars all round if it wasn't for this.

We have a temporary pond while the garden is being rearranged. The original pond needed no help and was clear and supported fish, frogs and other water insects. The move however was not successful and the pond became greener and greener until the fish were no longer visible. I saw this had good reviews so opted for the kit. At first I was disappointed, green water was still exiting the filter. I reduced the amount of water in the pond and within two days there were signs it was clearing. By day 5 the pond is beautifully clear and the fish swimming with smiles on their faces. The filter is in a temporary position until we get the new pond dug, but so far so good. Thank you.

works great. i have a 1100ltr water tank with goldfish. water is now very clean. coupla things to be aware of both pump and filter come with no plugs and youll need 3amp fuses. allow some time to take the bends out of pipe from packing. hot water to fit pipe to spigots.

Unfortunately I am having to return my second PFC 3000 kit. The pump from the first one completely stopped working after a week, and the pump from the second one also lasted a week and is now failing more and more each day and the waterfall is down to a trickle. The good: Easy to set up Easy to clean (although quite hard to open the lid to do a full clean) Cleaned my pond from green to clear in 4 days The bad: - 2 failed pumps - The supplied hose (both times) has been 25mm, but the filter only has 20mm connectors (although the pump has both 20mm and 25mm connectors. - The advertised stepped connectors are not provided. I had to purchase a new 20mm hose myself I contacted the manufacturer and they replied straight away, but they said that the pump must be failing because my pond is too big and the waterfall too high...… They said that were sorry that I had the problem, but didn't offer any help or advice. My pond is approx. 1000 litres with a few medium sized koi and goldfish which is 1/2 the advertised capacity for this unit and that mix of fish. My waterfall is approx. 300mm above the water level and about 600mm above the pump height. The unit is supposed to provide enough pressure for a waterfall up to 3m height. The supplier didn't even try and refute that I had stated their advertising was wrong. All I can conclude is that the pump sold with this is not up to the advertised standard. One failed pump is just unlucky, I don't believe that 2 failed pumps is a coincidence. I'm going to have to return again and buy something else. Which is such a shame as if the pump worked I would highly recommend this product. Maybe I'll even buy a new filter of the same type on its own and a purchase a separate pump.

Had this filter less than 2 months . Was great and water really clear and was easy to set up. But UV bulb failed and when trying to get the top off to change one of the screws would not come out. Got in touch with their customer service what a joke they are. Wanted a video of the faulty part?? Sent photo to which they have insinuated that I have obviously done this. I am more than capable of removing a screw as proven with the other 2 removed easily. I was told to drill it out which I did and have changed the bulb but now have a hole a screw won't go into and it's therefore not waterproof. Have asked for replacement cap for the top but they are now wanting another video of the fault 🤷. I am happy to pay for the part as just want it resolved now. Absolutely appalling customer service. Will never buy an Allponds item again .

Bought this as l was sick of cleaning the old filter out every week. The PFC 3000 has exceeded my expectations, the size and noise level were irrespective, but are great. I turned the supplied pump onto its lowest setting which l found to be more than adequate and my pond is crystal clear, it’s now 6 weeks after install and l’ve yet to clean the filter. It was easy to install and route the water outlet to my waterfall, l have added a 2 way pipe extension to the outlet hose supplying the waterfall, this enables me to direct the water to the waterfall or divert it out externally whilst carrying out the cleaning process, without having to remove any existing infrastructure. In in all a fantastic purchase, only wish l had done it sooner.

Seems to be working fine, and flow powerful, however it came without any plugs, so we had to go and buy plugs and fuses and fit them before we could use it. Bizarre
